The Ramblings of a Woman
I will talk about whatever I want. Which may or may not include a long list of books, comics, myths, historical happenings, current happenings, and my own philosophical ramblings.
Post #16
heart Hello! How is everyone doing? Summer is finally here and for me that means tackling the long "Books to be read during the Summer" list that I created for myself during the school year. More or less when ever I found a book that peaked my interest, but didn't have the time to read, I wrote it down to read later. Between this long list, my plans of cleaning the danger zone know as my room, and actually getting some exercise this summer I'm going to be one busy woman.
heart Now I love reading with a passion so it upsets me to admit that I unfortunately did not get the authors of some of the books that I plan to read. I am posting my reading list down below and the ones that I have no idea who the author is will simply have "By..." after the title, if you know who the author is, I beg of you, please tell me. Now with out further adieu I give you....
Books to be read during the Summer

* The Arkadians By Lloyd Alexander
* Birth of the Firebringer By Meredith Ann Pierce
* The Secret Garden By Frances Hodgson Burnett
* The Wanderer By Sharon Creech
* Do you know the Monkey Man? By Dori Hillstad Butler
* Night John By Gary Paulsen
* Sarney By Gary Paulsen (comes after Night John)
* A Corner of the Universe By Ann M. Martin
* 23 minutes in Hell By Bill Wiese
* Conditions Of Love By Ruth Pennebaker
* Messenger By Lois Lowry (said to be a companion book of Lowry's book The Giver)
* Gathering Blue By Lois Lowry (also said to be a companion book of The Giver)
* The Other Side of Silence By Margret Mahy
* The Rifle By Gary Paulsen
* Angle Warriors By...
* Shabanu By...
* Black Beauty By...
* Dragons Heart By...
* After the Dancing Days By...
* Thin Wood Walls By...
* The Year of Secret Assignments By...
* Two Suns in the Sky By Miriam Bat-Ami
heart So there you have it folks my entire list of books that I plan to read over the summer, of course a wide assortment of manga and comics will also get added into my reading too mind you, but I wanted this list to be books only. I would like to ask of you that should you know of any good books/mangas/comics or such things that concern certain things that you would please refer them to me, the certain things are:
*vampires
*Lycans(werewolves)
*zombies(and I ask this in all seriousness)
*other supernatural things/people/places
*dark poetry(stuff that makes a person think)
*the historical backgrounds of vampires/lycans/supernaturals
*mythology(I have no specific region of mythology that I like substantially more)
heart Hopefully that gave a small bit of info on what I'm looking for, if you have a friend on Gaia that is in to this stuff then perhaps they and I could talk. I have a deep amazement concerning these things and would love to talk to some one about them, but sadly I have yet to find some one with and equal love of them that is not...I don't want to say shallow when it comes to this or pea brained, but....perhaps I should use as deep in as I am when it comes to this stuff instead.
heart Let me remind everyone though that while I love my supernatural critters I am still the same old Naoar, the girl who is slow at typing, even slower when it comes to spelling, and due to fall short of acting like a complete ditz at times. May I also say that I am still a bit of a newbie at these things and I don't know everything(that's why I'm asking!), so don't expect me to understand everything you say when talking to me alright. I'm still learning.
heart Now I'm going to have to let you all go on your merry ways, I'm going to go look at the guilds and see if I can find one that might let me in. I didn't find much last time and I still don't understand how it all works. The price for entering can't be high when it comes to this cheapskate nor can it be one where i have to do something too often, some weeks I can get on Gaia daily, sometimes its a week or two before I can get on long enough to do something beside the daily chance and checking my mail.
Love,
ninja Naoar

seems like a pretty good list (well from the books i know at least) I think you might also like the Daughters of the Moon series by Lynn Erwing. The story's decent and has quite a few twist (even tho you wouldn't expect it from the first book) and it's really easy to read. idk you might wanna try them out.
