• Mismatched as I'm walking down to class,
Glasses falling down and I'm feeling like a clown.
    Shoes untied, so disorganized,
I'm just trying to get through living my own life.

    Pre-chorus 1:
Ohohohohohoh I don't know what I should do.
Ohohohohohoh I don't wanna get rid of you.

    Chorus 1:
    It's been a long day.
Why do we have to say goodbye?
    With you my sorrows fade.
Take me and we can reach the sky.

    Verse 1:
When we would hit back then we wouldn't hug or even speak,
But today we're friends and I hear about your week.
I recall when I began to want a little more than just your touch,
But then you cut me off and I decided not to care too much.

    PC2:
Ohohohohohoh I guess I'm gonna have to leave.
Ohohohohohoh Without you I can just be free.

    C2:
    Been a long day.
Darling I have to say goodbye.
With you my trust will fade.
Leave me so I can't hear your lies.

    V2:
I started hearing rumors 'bout a love you felt anew.
That it was me and I didn't know what I should do.
I'd let myself fall into another's arms,
And I had left because I saw some girl loving your charms.

    PC3:
Ohohohohohoh I guess I'm gonna have to choose.
Ohohohohohoh Why am I not free of you?

    C3:
    Been a long day.
This is a game I know I will lose.
    But what can I say?
Both of us are gonna have to choose.

    V3:
I was confused and we could not commit,
And you were too, because I wouldn't tell you sh!t.
And honestly this ending tastes a little bittersweet.
We're moving forward and I hope we don't repeat.

    PC4:
Ohohohohohoh I know what I should have done.
Ohohohohohoh We should never have begun.

    C4:
    It's been a long day.
I don't really wanna say goodbye.
    With you my sorrows fade,
But our remains float into the sky.

    Mismatched
    Shoes untied
    Glasses falling down
And I'm living my own life

    Explanation:
I'm putting a little background info down here since it doesn't fit in the description. It used to be named "Been a Long Day" or something like that (I came up with the choruses first). The first and last little blurb came last, they don't quite match up with the rest of the song. They are a frame for the rest of the song and are the reason the song is now titled "Mismatched". The 'mismatched' sections were how I felt on long days, and the inner story explained why for that period of time. None of the pre-choruses or choruses are exactly the same because they all progress through a different part of the story. It's funny because sometimes I'll catch myself singing older versions of the song.
