• I fail to see the truth in your views.
You think that life was made in a single boom,
When we all know that explosions just destroy.
I know that you choose to refuse the light.
But did you know, it’s rude to refuse,
The hand that brought the life.

    I pray,
    And I thank,
    The lord for life everyday.
    No matter how much,
    I hate it some days.
    I know you don’t.
    You don’t feel the same.
    So you aren’t thankful,
    For the breaths you take?

And this is what I think.
    I consumed the book,
    The spit out this ink.
    It leaves my tongue,
    A permanent black.
I thank God for the rain he brings,
He fills my mouth with words to sing.
If God didn’t take everything away,
    I’d still have nothing anyway.

I don’t want to rot in the ground for billions of years,
I fill a broken soul with hope to a new atmosphere.
Ozone so holy that the science can’t ever give,
Because I know if I die, I’ll be allowed to live.
But what is the price that I will pay,
When the love of mine refuses to pray?
I’ll flying solo on judgment day,
And if you loved me, you “should” change!

I pray the lord for the mistakes I make,
Because this is a test you can retake.
