We were the first
To get into the water
We knew it was forbidden
but it was for fun
soon after
more have joined
We splashed and played
in the shining sun
for what she wanted
was solid ground
She splashed someone
who pushed her back
She pushed her back
into the water
the currents fought
over her body
The screams the yells did nothing
to bring her back
