• Moonlight pouring on the floor
as the puddle flows under the door...
Her hand twitches, her heart fails,
    somewhere nearby the demon wails,
bring her back I never meant
to drink until her life was spent.
I'd give my world to undue this loss
anything you ask no matter the cost.
He reaches out to stroke her hair
leaving streaks of blood visible there.

I never meant to kill this one,
I need a way for this to be undone...
He searches in the empty night
for someone to listen and make it right.
    In his desperate, heart-felt plea
no one heard the lurking insanity.
He didn't want her to be alive
so she would remain by his side.
He really didn't know her or care,
but the pool of blood left a mess there
that he didn't wish to later clean.
He didn't think it cruel or mean.

She wasn't a his lover or his friend...
He wanted her back so he could kill her again.
