I think this is more addressing the typical level of self doubt and distrust that coincides with someone in a relationship. The fear of loss heightens your senses to the point of being overly atuned to smaller issues...its mkaes you paranoid. Scared, and wishing for every small chance to reaffirm that you are secure.
