• CHAPTER ONE

    My back was laid up against a tree as I watch the clouds gather amongst themselves coloring themselves gray."Ugh,clouds."I muttered to no one in particular.As I stare at the ground I recollect my preveious childhood memories.My life was never easy.I mostly spend most of my time alone for my parents are opposite.Now your wondering...'why would you parents be..opposite'.

    Well for one when they first met they didnt know alot about other until i was born which makes me feel almost like a mistake because after my 6th year of age my father left for 4 years and when he return when i just became 10 my mom left a few months later out of anger and rage.My mom never really return to see me unil my graduation from the 8th year of ninja school.My dad never really gave me the attention I wanted but I know he tries to prove me wrong about this.I almost resemble my mom Melina.We both resemble the same jet black hair and tan skin,from my father his bright hazel eyes that could leave you dumbfounded if you look to long,and from both of my parents their denomic powers that were granted upon me when I was born.My dad was the demon of the sun and my mom was a spirit from the moon leaving them to be next in line at the throne and mortal enemies.I of course was stuck in between if it wasn't for me my parents would rip each other to shreads but now im 17 i rome the human world with my friend Johnathan but I call him John-John or Johnny.We both met when he save me from an invasion of my village.Which by the way is the person im waiting on right now.Even though we live togather we never thought of each other more than friends well I don't know about Johnny but to others they could have sworn on they're left pinky toe that the way we walked side by side and the way we communicate we were togather."Come on John where could you possibly be right now?"

    "Right behind you."some one answered from behind as my head snapped in that direction."What's wrong did i scare you?"he said with a sly grin.Johnny was different from the people in the village,instead of denomic force he gain teleportion as well as speed.He skin was paler than mine and his dark mohagny hair was always covering his innocent blue eyes which most people thought was brown because they never seen his eye color and he refuses to cut it by all means because of a scar he got from a powerful mage that kiddnapped him when he was 3 but girls envy me for thinking I go out with him.His body is average but never under esimate his abilities to fight and he never wanted to fight unless it was self defense.Unlike me I will do anything to kill you if you get in my way but Johnny is trying to help me,says it's called anger management or some crap like that.

    "i swear to this very day you still yet amaze me with your stupidness"I said slyly back.

    "Ha Ha,same here doll and yet I still love ya." He mumblesas he grabs me by my waist."Take a deep breath Linda"

    "Must we do-"I was cut off as we poofed in the darkness.

    As we teleported to the human world we poof behind a Starbucks in a city named Wilmington.I have made 2 friends in the human world one name Natty and the other Amy.They are really intellegent and know alot of this world.

    "Since we are here how about we get some of that cough stuff?"said Johnny.As i shake my head i say"It's called coffee John-John."

    "Yeah,sure whatever."he says as he rolls his eyes."I think Natty is coming to visit so hurry up and buy." I say as we walk around the conner.After 15 minuates,Natty arrives as Johnny flips through a magizine and sipping coffee in a book store. "Why hello cute and unearthly couple."Natty says as she walks over to us."Shhh! We can't tell people that and me and Johnny are not togather for the numteenth time!"i whisper."Oh come on like people here are actually going to care."She said as she rolled her eyes."Besides everyone here just thinks you guys are here togather like every other couple."she mused"Come on Natty lay off...you just hate it because you want to get in my belly!!!"joked Johnny as i burst out with laughter."Okay that was a big burn!"I managed to get out during my laughter.

    "See what I tell ya perfect couple!"said as she raised one eyebrow.Me and John look at each other nd quickly look away.I glance at my watch."Oh,I think it's best we go now John I think Jerry is waiting on us."I say.He nods in response and say good-bye to Natty as we walked into the alley way as he grabs me by my waist once more and teleported in silence.
