I Dreamt a Dream

I dreamt a dream I fell in love
And we were happy all the time
And when I woke up in my bed
My head was spinning with the rhyme
Of perfect love

I dreamt a dream that I was free
To fly and spin and dance and sing
I was the world, the world was mine
And then I woke, and everything
Just dissapeared

I dreamt a dream I was a star
And fell out of the vast night sky
And dropped into the salty sea
And when I woke I wondered why
I felt so sad

I dreamt a dream the world had gone
And turned into a black dark place
And I was left all by myself
And when I woke I hid my face
And cried a while

Wow.
It really touched me. I've had dreams like that... Where you just wake up happy, or sad. Once all I remembered was that someone I loved very, very much (whether friend, family or otherwise) was in the dream, and I woke up so happy because of that.
Anyway, I really understand it. And it's actually /new/ =D!
There are a few things I would change, 'awhile' is but a single word I think. And the rhyming in the first paragraph seems slightly forced (<Thinks all rhymes seem forced, though.)
