A shadow falls across the land
Death and Fate walk hand in hand
A glimmer of hope I still see
Lying amongst the debris
I hear a voice that calls my name
Light and darkness; all the same
Confused, I turn and try to run
Heading towards the rising sun
I see no light and feel no heat
Warmth and comfort evade me
Swallowed by the dark inside
No longer can I run or hide
