• They had lunch in the food court. Eva had pork stir fry, Marie had two hot dogs, and Miss. Turner had a slice of pizza. After lunch they bought there tickets. Then they started their mall crawl.

They tried on a bunch of clothes. Eva bought three shirts at the first few stores. One was a blue bib halter top. That had a snake curled on the front ready to strike. Then one was a baby tee read on the front and back ‘you know I am so jail bate’ in gold and black glitter paint. The last one was a black sweeter with a skull and cross bones on the front and ‘I was born to be a pirate’ on the back. Marie just bought a pair of acids washed black jeans. Then they moved on to shoes. But they didn’t get any. Then they stopped at a few of the jewelry stalls.

They had to run to the movie theater to make it in time. They just had time to get they snacks. After the movie. They decided to head home. As they where walking to where the van was parked Eva saw the same flash of flame red hair. That she had seen last night. She looked to see where it came from. She saw the girl that Jakob had been kissing last night.

She was blond bomb shell. Her skin was sun kissed. When she turned her head Eva saw that she had see blue green eyes. She was perfect. Eva clutched the handles of her shopping bags. Eva knew of her she was a cheerleader.

Marie came running up and hugged her from behind. Then she saw what Eva was looking and she saw Lila. She was the head cheerleader from there school. Her hair was blond. She was obviously not natural because her roots where showing. She had a tan thought it was from a bottle. And it looked slightly orange.

“Do you know who that girl is Marie? I know that she goes to our school. And that she is a cheerleader but I don’t know her name.” Eva whispered in Marie’s ear as the girl and her group of friends walked off.

Marie hauled on Eva’s arm. “Her name is Lila. And she isn’t just a cheerleader she is the caption of the squad.” Marie looked over her shoulder to see where her mother was. She was just walking out of the mall. “Why do you care any way?” She asked.

“No reason. Let’s go I need to get home any way.” She started for the van. Her heart was breaking again. She didn’t want anyone to see her falling apart. She just had to keep it together till she got home and to her room.

“Ok,” Marie looked worried but said nothing. She just started toward the van.

They walked away in silence and met Miss. Turner at the van. They drove all the way home in silence.

The little girl with the fame red hair stood watching the van drive away. She bent down and picked up a piece of a mirror. She clutched the piece in her little hand. Blood ran down her hand but she paid it no mind she kept looking at where the van last was. Then with a small cry she faded away.
