Twisted Fates
Chapter 1
Wise twins were born into this world,
Their names were Friday and November.
Friday is a stubborn and distant soul kind of girl,
November, he’s a sweet and kind hearted boy.
Even though their demons, they can live amongst the mortal folk and cause no trouble.
On their first day of pre-k, Friday dragged her feet as she walked or rather sulked threw the grass to find her brother. November was sitting next to a bush he was talking to a little furry caterpillar. The caterpillar had about one-hundred legs and November observed this as he watched it intently. He started talking to the caterpillar as if it were his friend, knowing him and his imagination, everything outside could have been his friend. Friday looked around, her senses were amazing. She could see 50 miles away with her eyes, she could hear the moon rise at night, she could taste every ingredient in anything she eats, her smell is 200 percent perfect and her feeling was off the charts.
As she looked around she finally found her brother “November, come on we have school and I really want to be late!” She yelled to him as she shifted her feet back and forth, she held her snake, her snake was a three foot stuffed animal with a big fuzzy patch on its’ head. She hugged it tight, not wanting to go to school she had a whole plan to keep them busy at home. Unfortunately, November and her were linked so well, he could hear her thoughts, see everything she saw and felt whatever she was feeling. He said good bye to the caterpillar and stood up, he dusted off his shorts and walked over to her “There is no need to be nervous.” He said with a cute childish giggle. “I’m not nervous!” She said in a kind of protest as she stomped her little feet.
November shook his head, he took her hand and dragged her into the little cottage of which they called home. He spun around and landed on the floor, “Get your bag, we can leave now.” He cooed as he stood up grabbing his bag, Friday groaned and picked up her bag “Okay, let’s get this over with.” She sighed, they were smarter than they were supposed to be at this age but they weren’t actually humans so, there would be benefits. As they walked down a little dirt path to school, Friday watched the kids running into a little home-like place “We are going in there?” She asked pointing at the place, November looked to where she was pointing “Yes.” He said simply as they stopped in front of the entrance. “Well, ladies first.” He said snickering a bit, Friday glared at him “Well, since I’m not a prissy little girl, gentlemen may go ahead of me.” She smirked as her black hair blew around from the wind. He thought a moment, he shrugged his shoulders and walked into the place, Friday began to tip-toe away. November reached his arms out and pulled her in,
