Chapter One: First Encounters
Page One
They don’t know who they are, or that’s what each other assumed. Nine of them, nine of them sent here to protect the home they never knew of. What happened to these nine? Let’s figure this out now.
New York City it was the loudest, wildest city in all of the states. Japan also might have been a good choice, but he had already lived there for a few months. Being who and what he was, he had no choice but to constantly move. Though he hoped here he would be safe and actually be able to settle down for a bit. Here he would be known as Midnight, though few would know him by that name. Scratch that, hardly anyone would know him at all. He’d be stuck behind a wall doing what he loved to do most, cooking. One of his ‘friends’ owned the building, so it wouldn’t be under his name. It was time to begin his new life here.
Awakening to the sun’s bright rays, the dirty blond head groaned. He hated the fact he had to move so much. But today Midnight would be doing one of his favorite things to do. And that would be shopping for things for his restaurant. He was heading to a local artist, nothing big and flashy of course. A small business it was, perfect for his needs.
Moving from the comfort of his bed, he made his way to the shower. He allowed the water to run down his muscled body for a good amount of time, allowing it to soothe him and calm his nerves. First day in the city, nothing could go wrong. Boy was he wrong.
On the near side of town, a girl with flaming red hair that cascaded down her shoulders and having bright emerald eyes that seemed to catch everything that moved stood leaning against abuilding. It was the quiet and peaceful part of town. Easy pray. Sorry or being so rude. Who is this girl? Meet Blaze. And eighteen year old girl with a temper to match her flaming hair; they couldn’t be tamed.
She was deciding where to go ‘hunting’. It wasn’t like she ever got caught. Her fingerprints weren’t on file and no one would realize she was there. Blaze moved with much grace and it seemed as if she wasn’t ever there. That’s when she saw a frail little man make his way into an art shop. Ha! It was like handing a meal on a platter.
Pushing herself off of the building and towards the opposing side of the streets, Blaze stuffed her hands into her pockets. Attracting attention wasn’t the best idea. Or at least not at the moment. Her hands were a bit different compared to other humans. Symbols, or tattoos as she enjoyed calling them, were showing that her power had grown within. That was the reason why making a loving was so easy and simple.

It's pretty well written, but there are a few spelling errors
