• Long ago when the earth was still young and mankind was in great peril. Goblins and orcs and other such monsters roamed and ruled the earth with blood and fear. They killed at will and for the fun of watching pain. Men fought each other and monsters alike. Blood and death covered the world for years. The god Hades watched from below in his prison. And out cast to the depths of shadow for his cruelty and black heart. He made these monsters that covered the earth in war and death. The gods of light saw this and were saddened. they sent demons and shape shifters the help the people of earth. They fought the vile craters’ and drove them back to the shadow. The people rejoiced and thought this the end. But this was not to be… Hades fumed at this in his dark layer he planed would not give up. So the war of shadows began demons and shape shifters, men and women fought for three days and four nights. Many deaths accord but on the fourth day they drove the monsters back. Hades raged that day. But he formed a plan and had it put forward the next day. He sent a messenger to the demons and shapes sifters a young goblin named slime. Slime did as his master biding and went to the demons first. Now being demons they were more power hungry and agreed to go with slime. He went to the shape sifters next the shape shifters were wise and wished nothing for power. Or some were… few shape shifters went and few demons stayed. Those how went with slime expected great power but Hades had other ideas. He had seen the strength of these demons and there companions but shape shifters didn’t bother him they were weak compared to demons. He would give the demons horns making them think they hade grate power. These horns would make those how were them obey his command. They would do his work for him. The gods of light saw this and were angered so they cursed the demons that had gone to Hades. That when death came they would not feel warmth to fall in darkness never again to see the light. Hades attacked the shape shifters who refused to fight there long lost friends and so were killed. This war was called the demonic wars. Years passed and the cruse was long forgotten. After the war it is said the shape shifters fled. And to this day it is said that there are no shape shifters left and demons were locked away for eternity. But what do humans know...
