• She knew this was coming. Through time she expected her time to come with tragedy. She had only known him for 3 years, but they were old lovers anyways. The cancer was spreading. Time and time again she spent it mostly at the hospital. Fighting for her life alone.
He walked in without a warning and had turned his hate to love for her.

The skies couldn't be brighter. It always seems on dying days, the sky shines down rays to retrieve the souls. Laying on the bed staring at the skies clouds, she had wished for his hand. It wasn't fair, she was still there, but he was gone.
It had taken them both, but he went first. His last words were to wait for him out by the sea shore. He'll come get her when she's sleeping peacefully.

She didn't have time, but she went anyways. They always talked about a shore they visited often. It was hard to go with each other, since treatments got in the way. But they managed and they went.

She got out of her bed and dressed for the occasion. Dressing for her departure with him. Her lover. Walking it wasn't hard, the hospital was for teenagers with diseases, leaving them to do what they want, since they knew there was no cure for cancer or broken hearts.

She reached the shorelines. The skies gray and comforting, the breeze gently blowing against her fragile skin. The taste of salt setting in her mouth. Slowly setting down on the beaches side, she closed her eyes and waited for her lover to wake her from her dreams and take her home.

Closing her eyes, waiting for the pain to end. For the unexplained reasons of why her. The confrontation of why she can't live like the other girls.
Closing her eyes to feel her lovers hands around her.

She squeezed her legs tight against her chest, the air getting colder and colder. Her heart beating slower and slower. She could feel him now. The birds were leaving their nests. The wind whispering in her ear. The heart pounding in her ribcage.

Sleeping finally with him. He had come for her, not a minute late.

The hours went by, the girl died on the sea side, smiling with her arms around herself. A note attached to her chest, right above her heart.
<<when I wake up I'll realize that everything's still wrong, and I'm still here and you're still gone.
It's not fair. and I'm still all alone. Don't wake me, i find piece in my dreams. I'm with my lover forever there. <3>>
