• Well, last weekend was complete torture. I decided to hang out with Sydney across Miramichi, big mistake. We spent most of the day at Wal-Mart and Zellers clothes shopping. In other words, I spend the whole entire day watching Sydney pick out clothes she would like. It was madness, but she seemed to enjoy it. I just hope she doesn’t ask me to do it again anytime soon. After that though, we did go out to eat. It would have been more enjoyable, if she didn’t keep staring at me with a glazed look. It made me hungry for Timbits. I was so glad I was home to be greeted by Dede.

-So Serge, where were you all day?

-In hell I had whispered to him.

Dede then simply laughed out loud.

-Look! We went out clothes shopping! I was able to pick out some neat outfits! Said Sydney as she was walking towards my room to put her stuff down.

At that moment, Hannah arrived from the door.

-Hey Hannah, I have a question I had said.

-Lay it on me, she replied.

-Where do you go all day?

-Hehehe, that is a secret boss.

-You don’t have to call me boss anymore Hannah; you don’t work for me anymore.

-Teehee! You’ll always be known as “boss” to me Serge.

I sighed. Sydney came out of the room wearing her newly bought clothes. The outfit she was wearing was very pink and fleece like. She was also wearing a new set of pants. I did not pay much attention to them seeing as I watched her pick out clothes all day.

-Oh good! You bought new clothes for tonight I presume? Asked Hannah to her younger sibling.

-Oh yeah! I forgot about tonight! Answered Sydney.

-What’s up for tonight? Asked Dede.

-That too is a secret! Answered Hannah.

I sat down in my chair, opened up my Wii, and started playing Mega Man 9. I kept repeating to myself:

-Maybe today wasn’t so great, but Tuesday will be awesome, since I’ll get Fallout 3 and play the living hell out of it!

I had started to play Splash Woman’s stage, when I felt something heavy sit on top of my head. I then started seeing pink fleece. At that point I decided to pause the game as I knew what was coming next, but to my surprise, she was simply cuddling me. To be perfectly honest, I would have preferred a bear hug since this was starting to feel awkward.

-Can I help you Sydney? I had asked hoping she would start standing up more since she was starting to hurt my neck. Sadly, she did not.

-I just wanted to let you know I really loved going shopping with you today Serge.

-You’re welcome, now could you be so kind as to ease up on the leaning on my head, you’re hurting my neck.

-Oh my gosh! I’m so sorry! Are you ok? She had asked worriedly.

-I’m fine, my neck is just sore. That’s all. I answered as I was rubbing my neck.

-Well here, let me fix that.

-Oh no! It’s fine really! I’m ok! I answered nervously since I knew where this was going.

    -Oh! But I insist!

-Oh! But I insist that you don’t!

She started warming up her fingers and cracking her knuckles. She was just about to lay her hands on my neck, when I got up from my chair and started moving backwards.

-Sydney, for the last time, I’m fine! I pressed.

-Non-sense! I’ll make you all better you’ll see! Now please sit down so that I can massage your tender neck.

At that point I started backing up more. I almost tripped on my coat and other things that were lying on the floor. The one time I wished the stuff wasn’t there. I regained my balance and escaped to my room. I had closed the door and barricaded t with my body. She tried to open the door, but she was unable to do so since I was ultimately heavier than she was. I breathe a sigh of relief and turned my head when I saw Hannah dressed in a maid's outfit.

-GAH!!! I had yelled as seeing Hannah in a maid outfit wasn’t exactly what I expected when I entered my own room.

-Ah! Boss! What are you doing? Hannah had yelled back at me.

-What am I doing? What are you doing in a maid outfit?

-I... it's none of your buisness boss!

As I was arguing with Hannah over what I was seeing, Sydney entered the room as I was no longer guarding it. She walked in as Hannah was still in her outfit. Sydney simply stood there and stared at both of us.

    -Sydney! Had started Hannah.

Sydney’s eyes started to water, she then ran into the bathroom and locked the door. Hannah rushed to the bathroom door. She knocked on the door.

-Sydney, are you ok? She had asked.

-Go away! I don’t want to talk to you right now! She yelled.

Dede walked up to me and asked:

    -What’s wrong with Sydney?

I said nothing as I kept staring the wall.

    -Ok... what’s wrong with you?

I still said nothing. To make things worse, Mai arrived at that time.

-Hey hun, hey Serge. What’s up? She asked.

-Sydney locked herself in the bathroom, but I don’t know why?

Sydney over heard Dede and answered while crying:

-Why don’t you ask Hannah while she cooks you your dinner!

Mai shook her head repeated times making sure she heard right, but still couldn’t believe what she heard. Finally she answered:

    -Wait, what?

    -What? Had answered Dede.

    Sydney once again answered:

-Serge saw Hannah in that stupid maid outfit!

Both shook their heads, went into my room and saw me staring at the wall.

-Serge, you ok? Had asked Mai.

-Can someone tell me what just happened? I answered loudly.

Sydney kept crying. Finally Hannah told her:

-Sydney, I’m sorry Serge saw me practicing my acting, but it was an accident. He came in the room as I was about to say my lines!

-So! What’s to say that Serge didn’t like it?

-Euh, the fact that Serge is still confused as to what just happened, with the most screwed up face he’s ever made, and that’s saying a lot! Mai had added.

At that time, the door unlocked. Hannah was happy, she opened up her arms waiting for a hug, but Sydney pushed her away and went straight for me. She had wrapped her arms around me. I was still in shock but I felt her tears run down my back. I started regaining my senses at that time.

-I didn’t come out to forgive you Hannah. I came out to tend to Serge. He’s in shock and I want to make him feel better.

-Sydney, I’m fine. I had finally answered.

Sydney had a big smile on her face and hugged me tighter.

-Hooray! I knew I could make you snap to your senses again! She said with enthusiasm.

-No really, I’m fine. I just want to go on my computer and relax before I hit the tub alright?

-I’ll make sure your ok until then.

-Don’t you have to go somewhere with Hannah tonight?

-But I don’t want to go, knowing you might still be in shock.

-I’d appreciate if you went out with your sister and leave me with some privacy.

-Besides, it might give you two a chance to patch things up. Intervened Mai.

-Well, ok, but I want to know you’ll be fine!

-I’m fine now! Now go get ready. I had said, then I added: Anywhere but here!

Well, it’s the end of the month and this weekend I’m going home to spend some time with my mom, maybe my friends and get some well deserved rest and relaxation. It was nice to see that Hannah and Sydney were able to patch things up in the end, but I kept having these strange dreams always involving Hannah and I. The dream consists of Hannah being different outfits around the apartment acting very strangely, especially towards me. But no matter what she is dressed in, I always find myself backed up to a wall, and being trapped there. She finds out that I am trapped, and takes advantage of that. I see her face getting closer to mine. As soon as she gets half an inch to my face, I wake up from that nightmare. This went on even to this day where I needed to get packing.

I was packing for the preceding day’s road trip when I heard knocking at the door. I answered the door to find it was my landlord coming to collect this month’s rent:

    -Good day sir! He said.

    -Good afternoon! I had replied.

    -Got the rent ready?

-Yes sir! I’ll go get it!

I went into my room, got the check, and came out with it. Sydney and Hannah were also in the living room practically watching me pack.

-Alright then, I’ll make this quick since I know you have guests. I won’t bother you further. He had said as he was writing the check.

-Wait, these girls live here though. I had answered.

-Really? When did they move in?

-You mean this is the first time you’ve met these two? I had asked inquisitively.

-Yeah, I never seen them before to my recollection. Well anyway, if they are, please let me know. Have a good day!

He then left. I had the check in my pocket; I turned to both of them with a face that could scare the devil himself.
