• I walked, disguised as a regular student, into the school, to the classroom, and to my assigned seat. PLOP went my bag, and out came my pencil and journal.

Journal Entry #1: School is different. Nothing at all like Heavell High. Lots more girls then guys... weird.

    "Hey! New kid! Daren!"

I was interrupted by another boy, about 2 years older, black hair, over-dramatic hairstyle, and looked... well, downright stuck-up.

"My seat. Up, and out." The boy, my instincts told me his name was Jake, did a bunch of weird hand motions which a bunch of the girls swooned at.

I stood up slowly, and confronted him. "No. I'm not moving for you, your girlfriend, or anyone who's acquainted with you."

Ooh's and aah's where exchanged, and Jake moved back a little bit. I could already tell he was baffled. Human expressions are so easy to figure out. Well, Jake moved forward about two or three inches from my face, and spoke in a bratty tone.

"Not moving, huh? Well, why don't you and I just head outside... man-to-man."

"Alright, stop." A girl's voice. Beautiful. Serene, and I loved her.

Jake turned, my mouth was about dropped open, but I kept my wings tucked in my jacket. Jake walked towards the girl, arms wide.

"Come to Papa." Jake went a little to far by "pretending" to kiss her.

The girl, now I knew her name was Alana, pushed him away.

"Hotshot..." she mumbled. She walked my way, and I still was in awe of her... awkward how things work out. Demons ALWAYS are the ones to fall for human lifeforms.... WHY ME???

"Sit there, don't move, don't beat it." She poked me in the shoulder, "First one other than me to stand up to him. How nice." She walked away.

Holy great Caesar. I was in love. I sat down, and didn't move... just to please her. Later on, after school, Alana pulled me aside.

    "New kid, right?"

I nodded, absolutely excited we had alone time.

"Remember, if you stand up to Jake, you'll get a stand up later, so WATCH. YOUR. BACK." Her finger was poking my right shoulder the whole time.

"Thanks for the advice. I'll keep that in mind." How fast do humans go? Do we kiss now? What happens? Is she my girlfriend?

I must've surprised her or something, because she tilted her head a little and said, "Speak again."

I gave her a look of confusion. She wanted me to speak? Alright then.

"My name is Daren, I'm a d---" whoops, almost said demon, ".... darn good fan of the gators, and I mostly like this school."

Her eyes were like diamonds. Shining just because of my voice.

"Meet me after school." I was sure I wouldn't take THAT for granted.

She walked away, looked over her shoulder once, and ran to her friends, giggling while she spoke to them. I chuckled, loving how this was going, and walked to the restroom. A couple minutes later, once done with my... ahem... business, I came out of the stall, and what a surprise. Jake and his group standing in front of me, holding buckets full of toilet water, and laughing at me.

"Whatcha gonna do now? Stand up to me again?" Jake sneered.

The second they lifted their buckets, I was gone. And when I say gone, I mean... gone. How could I have been so stupid? I disappeared RIGHT IN FRONT OF THEM! Well, at least I still looked decent for Alana. Jake and his group, on the other hand, got detention for pouring toilet water all over the restroom. Jerks.

After school, Alana dragged me to an alleyway. Wondering why I couldn't read her mind, I played along. She was most likely not really thinking which is a mixture between daydreams and wondering if I know what she's thinking, which I mostly do.

What a surprise I got in the alleyway. Alana didn't only hold both of my hands, and push me against a wall, but she asked a question which I didn't really want to answer.

"You do like me, don't you?" her eyes looked longing. I was ready to answer.

She got her answer, and I was the first to move. The first kiss lasted about three seconds. Then the next was longer, and we kept kissing because... because we liked each other, and wanted to kiss forever. I could've made it seem like forever, but I don't think that would seem fair. Once both of us were half-on half-off in our jackets, we decided to give it a break. What am I doing? I don't know, but I like it a lot.
