Is life already written for you? or Is it waiting for you to write it.
“She raised the dagger to her chest and pierced her heart with it and fell to the feet of her captor. Her finale thoughts were did she do the right thing but then she realized that now the location of her children would die with her.” “Very good closing Miss Phillips, a very heroic ending for your story,” the instructor said and went on to the next student. “Thank you,” I say and sit back down. I sigh and look out the window until the bell rings for lunch. I walk to the break area and grab an apple, pay for it and sit next the window. I'm joined by Hanna another student. “Ara you really just going to eat an apple?” she asks me. I simply nod and dig something out of my bag. “Here, I graded it like you asked,” I say handing her a folder. “Oh, you finished it thanks,” she says and opens it. “Huh! Why is it blank?” she asks. I sigh and take another bite, “Well for starters you completely forgot the title and even introduction almost made fall out of my chair, and furthermore it's not done,” I say in one breath. “Ok then when it is finished it'll do more than fall out of chair it'll... Huh, where'd you go,” she says looking for me. While she was talking I slipped out of the room to my next class. I entered and sat down and took out a book and starting reading. I can't believe it's been two years since I started living here. Oh, forgive me my name is Miranda Phillips, I'm 21 and on my final year of this two year period. I always said I was going to school for as long as I needed, but my career is pretty good so the only teaching I need is language classes anyway. I moved here after my mother's death and in 5 months I'll be done with school and off on job somewhere. I don't know yet, I sigh and put my book down and leaned back and closed my eyes. “That wasn't very nice Miss Phillips,” a voice says above me. “I've heard her speech before and where's the two puppies that fallow you around and cause trouble for me, Mr. Griffin,” I said opening one of my eyes and look up. “Ouch, your like ice when you at me like that,” he says rubbing his arms likes it's cold. “Don't be offended Leon she's cold to anyone that gets close enough,” a woman says walking into the room with another woman close behind. “Speak of the Devil,” I huffed as the bell rang for break to be over. “Maybe I can take you for a drink later,” Leon says and walks out to his class. “Yeah, in hundred years,” I say under my breath. The rest of the day went by and as walked out of the school I noticed the twins fallowing me so I dash off into an alley. When they turned I was gone, well really gone I just climbed the stair well to the roof. “Where'd she go, Sara,” one asked. “Beats me, Sai, but will get her tomorrow for sure,” Sara said and they left the alley. I jumped down to the and looked around. “Goodness, Thank you Mr. Connors,” I said and knelt down to grab my bag when the sudden pain in shoulder hit me. I drop to my knees in pain. It lasted a minute I pick up my bag and myself and walked out of the alley to my home. When I reached my door I was greeted by house maid, Martha. She a nice old woman my mother trusted her to take care of me when I was in Europe when I was 18. Since then she's fallowed me here and has continued her kind survives. “Miss are you alright?” she asked as I laid my stuff down and fell to my knees again. “I'm fine, Martha, I just over did it that's all,” those where the last things I said when the pain came back and made me faint. When I come to I notice I'm in my bed and my wound has been redressed. I touch it, I still can't believe an almost four-year-old injury still is opened. Martha comes into the room with some food, “Ah, your finally awake,” she says laying the food down. “Yeah thank you Martha, I'm sorry if I worried you,” I say. She sighs and pulls a chair next the bed and sits down. “Be lucky that you trust an old nurse than an doctor. I respect your wishes when it comes to that wound and your health, Miss,” she says handing me the soup she brought. “Your the better than any doctor, Martha and you know it,” I say taking a few sips. “Yes, I know, but you could be a little more careful,” she says and I give her a look. She sighs, “Well is there anything else you need before go home?” she asks standing up. “Nope and you should get home Kanto probably home already,” I say getting out of bed. “Alright, have a nice night Miranda and do be careful tomorrow,” she says as I walk her to the door. “Don't worry I promise I'll try not to get my wound any more open then it already is,” I promised and she said good nite and left. I walk back into my room open the sliding door to balcony and breathed in the nite air. “Tomorrow is the day, jeez time sure does fly,” I say and look up at the sky. My cat, Hermes, joins me. He climbs on the railing and purrs as I pet him. “Say Hermes , would you mind going back to Europe after school ends,” I ask him and he just climbs on my shoulder in response. “Yeah, me too,” I say and walk back into my room closing the door.
