Here I lay upon my death bed feeling my life fade away. I look toward my dresser seeing a fake rose that was once pure white but now is brown and faded in coloring remembering how I received that rose.
The day before I received the first red rose was a terrible day. I walked down the street with my best friend or crush. It all happened so fast, the car came from no where it seemed like a lighting strike. The next thing I knew, my friend was on the ground dieing. His face showed pain and I saw his eyes loose its life as he remembered the last 17 years. Just before the life disappeared he started to say something but didn't complete it. That night, I cried myself to sleep.
The next day when I awoke, I found a single red rose more beautiful then any other I had ever seen. I held it in my hand for awhile feeling comfort coming from it before I place it in a vase of water and headed out to his funeral. As all the people were crying and saying their good byes it started to rain, the heavens were crying for life lost before its time.
I stood at his grave long after everyone else left just staring at it not sure why I could not accept the fact he was gone. I am not sure when I came home that night or when I finally fell into a restless sleep. The next 10 days were like the first, finding a red rose when I awoke and staring at his grave crying unable to talk to anyone.
The 12th day, when I awoke I found a pure white rose that didn't feel real but had that same beauty as the others and a note that stated: When this rose dies, we will be together again my beloved. I stared at that card knowing those words were wrote by my friend which made me feel comfort knowing this was not the end but only the beginning.
Now as I sit upon my death, I watch that rose as the first petal fell changing into my friend who smiled having never aged. When the next petal fell I stood beside him seeing the light before us.

- Very nice, but maybe change some sentences because a lot of them seem a bit run-on. Maybe just split them up a bit? Other than that, great work!
