• Chapter 9
    10 Years Later...

    It was a very normal day until the end. James Hatter and Jennifer ate and talked together. It was when they were getting into bed and were about to go to sleep when a person ran into the chamber and into their room. The person was transfixed and talked with an evil tone. James identified the person as a woman because of her long hair. She had glowing green eyes and her skin was a dark, almost purple. "You are in grave danger. You must leave now or you will die, DARK Magician," she said. Jennifer twitched and she began to see something that wasn't really there. She saw someone with James. She heard James say, "...some people call me the DARK Magician, but I have another name." She then came back into reality and stared at James Hatter. He wasn't DARK! She loved him and he loved her! He wouldn't keep secrets!
    The mysterious lady then said, "I will give you a choice, magician. You can either come with my assistant or stay here and die. I will give you two minutes." The ladie's eye dimmed and her skin lightened up. She disappeared and James sat up immediately.
    "We have to leave!"
    "Why?" Jennifer said.
    "I know who wants to kill me and he's probably really mad at me. It's been 10 years since I've seen him and I did something bad." Jennifer could tell he was keeping a secret.
    "What have you done?"
    "I tortured him and locked him in a different reality." he said as he gazed witha blank stare.
    "I'm going to stay here James. I think you should too." After a long disscusion James agreed with Jennifer. They woke up the next day and waited anxiously. Nothing happened. They waited and waited and waited. When they were starting to get into bed and go to sleep they heard the door to the chamber slam shut. A man walked into the room and stared at James Hatter. Jennifer looked at the man's faced and saw a vision. It was of a 2 men talking. One of the men looked like the man in their room. He then said, "Coon I have to travel to the Wasteland." The other man must be her older brother. Coon said, "Fine. Be back soon." After that the man ran off and the vision ended. Jennfier recognized this man and then remembered his name. She couldn't figure out how she knew, but she knew that she knew his name.
    "What do you want with me?" James said.
    "I want to kill you after all the torture you put me through!" the man said.
    Then, in a whisper, Jennfire said, "Spirit."
