• I was awakend by the sudden shake of the ground. The building which was once quiet and still and motionless shook like jelly in a bowl. From the screamings from outside and the pounding of the sound in my ear. I got up out of my bed and raced outside to the rubble that was forming from the collapsed scenery... The streets opened up to the ground trying to offer me to the mother earth. The ground below me broke though and I fell into the forming crevises........
I hanged onto the ledge, dust spilling over me as I tried to pull myself up. I can hear sirens in the distance, a woman crying, and the ringing in my ears has yet to stop. After getting up onto the ground which as stopped moving. My eyes could have been decived, but the facts remain true to what has occured. The buildings, the streets, pretty much the entire neighborhood was effected by this adrupt shaking. As I try to walk towards the building which once stood as my house. I fell to my knees grasping my stomack. Feeling the pain of everyone around me....
The destruction is to much to bear. I stood to my feet, unable to keep my balance, stumbled overmyself and fell straight back down to the ground. The tears forming in my eyes and running down my cheeks. Washed away a line of dust on my face. I closed my eyes and thought to myself "How could this happen", "Why did this happen". As fast as the shaking occured, I was pulled to my feet. My arm felt as if it was being torn off. A person was saying something, I can't really tell what he was saying..but his eyes gave off an intense look..the ringing in my ears didnt stop for me to hear him......
He grabbed my arm and pulled me with him towards the vehicle, it flashed red and blue. Others were gathering around it, most were covered in blood the sight of it made me flinch. The closer we got, the more better my hearing worked. The ringing slowly came to a stop, and the loud noise of the yelling and screaming all came at once. It hurt but I started to hear again, so I was glad. "We need help!, They are trapped" screamed a woman aimed at whoever could care to help. The man that had my arm let go and went to the woman. I heard her say to the man "This way follow me!" and they both left. I stood there unable to process what to do... So I followed them...
