• Justin held Yvany tightly, lying in the same bed. They both have just confessed their love and are planning to get married in a week. He was thinking about how wonderful spending the rest of his life with her would be when he heard a gentle knock on the door. Justin carefull unwrapped his arms from around Yvany and got to his feet. He looked back as she stirred but never arroused. She was so calm and at peace, she looked like an angel. My angel, he thought. He opened the door, hoping not to make a sound. The royal messanger was standing before him.
"Your highness, the king has demaned every armed man at once, the North has declared war." the messanger whispered noticing there was a sleeping woman in the room. Justin looked to his heart's captor and then to the messanger. He picked up a piece of parchment and began to write.
"If it is to make her safe." he sighed walking out of the room and closing the door behind him, leaving the one who held not only his heart but his letter behind.

    . . . . .

Yvany awoke to the sun beating her face through an open window. She opened her eyes, the light blinding. The warmth from her right side had left her. She glanced around the room, desperate for an explanation. She saw a piece of paper rolled up sitting on the desk across the room She hurried over to it and unrolled it. It read:

    My dearest Yvany,
Forgive me, I have left you for now. The north has declared war and I am needed. Please, don't hold this to your heart. I would appriciate it if you would forget about my leaving when I come back so we can be just as happy before the sudden demand. If you do not forgive me then me promise you'll never marry until I'm back to be sure that he is a good man. If you are to forgive, than I promise to be that man, if you still accept my love.

With all the love the Earth could bare,
    Justin

Yvany softly rolled the note back into place. She took the ribbon from her hair, letting her hair fall around her face, she tied it around the note. I don't want to forget, but nor do I want to forgive, she thought. She took off the night gown and put on her pants and a shirt that Justin had gotten for her last night. She walked out in to the corridor, looked in both directions and was about to escape before she heard sobs coming from down the hall. Wnating to leave but not wanting hear sadness, she rushed to the room the she quickly learned was Marsha's and opened the door. She found Marsha sitting oon her bed covering her face with her hands and crying. Yvany rushed to her and wrapped her arms around her.
"My goodness child, what's wrong?" Yvany asked.
"J-J-Justin lef-f-t." Marsha sobbed in reply. Yvany began to rock her back and forth until her sobs became soft hiccups.
"See, now it's all better." she soothed. Marsha nodded her head in agreement and Yvany left her in her room. She nearly ran down the corridor, hoping to get away from anything they might remind her of Justin.

Yvany was out of breath and her heart felt like it was going to burst when she finally reached Sandra's house, where she was officially staying. She was just about to go inside before she heard something in the stables. She made her way over to the door. She inched it open and saw a figure moving around a horse that clearly didn't know him.
"Hey! Leave that horse alone!" Yvany shouted and burst the the barn doors. The stranger staggered backwards and fell. The horse raised its front hooves in fright of all the comotion and was about to bring them down right on the stranger, had Yvany not pulled him quickly out of the way. He was clutching onto Yvany's arms tightly and turned to her. He was strikingly handsome, blonde hair with blue eyes that were like a stream in spring that had the sun reflecting off of it.
    "Thank you." he breathed.
"Not a problem, now what are you doing in our stables?" she demanded.
"The horse made a faint noise and it startled me so I came to see what was wrong, that's when you came in." he answered letting go of Yvany.
"So what you're impying is that you love animals and when Buck here made a funny sound you thought there was something wrong?" she questioned. He nodded and she laughed without meaning to.
"You need to learn a thing or two before you get your panties in a twist about one little noise." she snickered.
"And who are you to be telling me that I don't know anything about animals?" he demanded.
"I'm Yvany and might I ask the same?" she asked tilting her head to the side.
"I'm Timothy." he nodded. Yvany smiled and walked out of the stables.
"Wait!" Timothy called. This woman was the most beautiful woman he has ever seen, it would be a shame to lose her aquaintance now. Yvany turned around as Timothy grabbed her arm.
"Might I stay with you for a while, I have no where to go." he said.
"I'll ask Celia but I doubt she'll refuse." she smiled and his heart stuttered. She walked inside with Timothy at her heels like a sick puppy dog.
"Celia, we have a guest that would like to stay." Yvany called as she was walking down the hallway.
"Justin is always allowed over." Celia said as she walked out of the room. When she looked up she expected to find Justin standing at Yvany's side, stealing glances at Yavny whenever he got the chance but instead she found a stranger with blonde hair and trusting blue eyes beside her.
"Oh, well, hello. I'm Celia." she intorduced reaching for his hand. He gladly took it and smiled.
"Can he stay?" Yvany asked and Timothy looked at her. She really wants me to stay, he tought.
Absolutely." Celia smiled widely. It wouldn't be very long but at least he would get to stay with Yvany.
