• It was dark and he couldn't see anything. The cold made his skin crawl with goosebumps. Then he felt something warm and wet under his feet. . . .

Sky woke up at the sound of Shyler snoring. Sky rubbed his head and tried to remember the dream last night, but he couldn't recollect what it was. He looked up at the clock above the door and sighed. It was about four and breakfast didn't start untill five-thirty. With nothing to do Sky got out of bed and got ready for the day. Only several minutes had passed when he was done. With nothing to do he went to look at the miniture bookcase the Shyler had showed him the other day.

Skyler bought manga whenever he had the chance and the money. He had told Sky that he can borrow his manga whenever he wanted, but he made sure that he had to bring it back in the condition it was in. Sky took a book out and glanced at the back cover, then but it back. He glanced at the clock and saw he still had another fourty-five minutes untill the cafeteria served breakfast.

Sky decided to let Shyler sleep and left the room. The halls were quite and empty. Sky took the scythe stone charm out of his pocket and examined it as he walked down the halls to the cafeiteria. They're not serving yet, but he could wait at his table while he waits.

"Sky! Yo, man!" someone said from behind him. Sky stopped and turned around as he put the scythe charm in his pocket. Two guys exited a room and went up to him. It was Kristin and Steven, the two guys who told them to go to the office.

"Up early again I see," Steven said. "Didn't know your room was down this way. Did you get a new room or something?" Sky nodded, and started down the hall again. Kristen and Steven followed him.

"We were going to go to the cafeteria, that where you going to?" Kristen asked. Sky nodded. "Haven't seen you after lunch yesterday, you didn't go to your evening classes, something happen at the Headmaster's office?" Sky didn't answer him. Steven and Kristen sighed in unison.

"You're a little hard to talk to, you know that?" Steven said. Sky stopped walking and turned around.

"Sorry," Sky said then continued down the hall.
