• The sun’s rays hit my sweat covered body. Another night of restless slumber, still at lest tonight within the darkness, no the nothingness, I heard a voice, something, but it was no comfort just telling me I was afraid. Afraid of what? Did it have to do with kNight? The last I saw of him was two nights ago, I have avoided the bar and that side of town afraid, oh, that I might meet him again. Is that what I’m afraid off? What he was talking about? That melting theory, that I was the thing melted, but the just sound so odd. So far fetched and, scary… Am I going to be alone when what ever happens, happens?

“Seeing you look so glum makes my heart ache Destroyer.” He was standing in the doorway of my house smiling at me. Like he belonged there in my door way, like he was always there.

“What are you doing here kNight?”

“I came to offer you my service.” He bowed to me again just like the night when we meet. “I’ll make you a deal little one if you let me see how your story ends, then you won’t end it alone.” He moved towards me and got on one knee like he was proposing marriage. “Do accept Destroyer?”

I stared at him. He was so strange, but I don’t want to end it alone. “But when will it happen? What will happen?”

He got up from the floor and took my hands in his own. “Shhhh, Destroyer whatever happens you won’t be alone. But until that time comes I have matter to attend to and you should enjoy this wonderfully day, and experience life.” He kissed my hand and walked towards the door.

“Wait, I thought you were going to be at the end, with me.”

“It’s not the end yet Destroyer, I’ll be back.” He winked and he walked out my door and left me sitting there, and somehow the darkness, I wasn’t afraid anymore.
