• The young woman ran down the bank of the mud filled river, letting the wind blow across her face, drying the tears to make a clean surface for more, her phone kept buzzing, she checked it and it was her mother, she answered and brought it up to her ear,
"Sweetheart please come home? We will get through this together." her voice had a broken fragile state about it, the girl hit the end button and threw it into the murky water. The light faded as the phone went to the bottom and the girl continued to run in the rain, her faded blue jeans and black tank top soaked completly through and sticking to her body.
Her breath came to her in gasps but she forced her body to run, 'daddys dead?' she shook the thought out of her head as she slipped and fell in the mud and pounded the earth with her fists, "my daddy's dead!?" she screamed, "how could you take him from me, I went to church I prayed to you to help make him better, but you ignored me!" She screamed and pushed herself back to her feet and brought out the small revolved pistol and made sure the saftey was on and kept running, "You let him die." She whispered and contiued her agonizing journey towards her destination. She couldn't feel the cold that engufled her thin framed body, she let the pain soar in her heart, "I can't live through the funeral." She cried, "I can't live without my daddy." she cried and ran faster, pushing her legs to their absolute limit, she couldn't breath now, not that it mattered to her, she gasped and sobed and gasped again. She could feel herself slipping out of her body due to the loss of oxygen she slipped again, but this time she stayed down, she cried into the dirt and the mud, her pretty face tear streaked, rain beaten and clouded with mud, leaves, and the worst pain she had ever felt, little scratches from tree branches roamed over her high cheek bones, large hazel eyes scared and lost searched for her father,"Daddy come back!" She cried and curled up in a ball, the gun next to her head, wrapping her arms around her thin legs and laid there sobbing.
The tears finally stopped coming, her breath returned to her, and the rain began to let up, she could feel the cold slightly now but pushed herself back to her feet and picked up the gun and began her run again, this time at an even faster rate. She could feel strength coarsing through her veins, she ran to an open spot around her, where the trees opened up, she sat down on a rock and could hear nothing infront of her or behind her, she let out another sob and cocked the gun taking the saftey off and aiming it at her temple, she hear the gun click when she cocked it and fear shook her very core, "daddy how could you leave me?" she asked letting the gun fall to her lap, she closed her eyes and let her self be taken away to a place where she was warm and safe, wrapped up in a blanket, curled up in her father's lap. In their favorite recliner, the tears began to fall even more now, she reaimed this time putting the barrel of the gun to her heart, "there is nothing to live for here, no medicine can take away the pain of your death daddy, Please forgive me. I don't think that I will see you whereever you are. I am sorry daddy." she cried and pulled the trigger, the impact felt like a thousand knives digging into her skin, she could almost feel the pin p***k of each seration along side of each knife, the pain ripped through her muscles and let herself be swept in the pain, like a calm river takening her away, she fell, she could hear a scream of agony but she had not let out a sound, she let her self hit the ground as she let out a breath, her eyes fixed on her mother's face, behind her, were the girls two brother, they both looked shocked and the 13 year old boy ran to his 16 year old sister, "mom help her!" He screamed tears running down his face as he forced his hand in the growing stiff body of the girl.
The dying eyes of her daughter never left the mother as she saw her pain flash then they went dull, the two beautiful spheres of live she had come to know and love were gone, she ran to her daughter, and picked her beautiful brown hair out of the dirt and sat it in her lap, Storking the goregeous face of her daughter, there was no smile, the full lips she loved so much were drawn into a tight line of pain, "why did you do this to yourself my love!?" She whispered in her daughter's ears. She could feel the blood run cold in her daughter's veins, only that day she had felt her heart beating as she embraced her after the news of her father, now the once small little bundle that had grown into such a beautiful child was growing cold and the heart beat that had shaped a child so beautiful so strong, so much like her father. Was gone, along with her husband who had saved her from her life or rape and abuse, everything was gone, the other brother of the girl watched in shock as his sister died, the sister he had loved since he was five, the one he had wanted to grow up so he could protect her. She was gone now, his father wasn't enough? The confusin in the atmosphere grew, the sobs became louder, the boys flinched as the mother screamed and the rain began to fall once more. The ambulance came but they were to late. the mother never let go of her child. The one she had watned to plan a wedding for was gone.
The phone rang and it was her daugthers best friend, "hey where is she i can't get ahold of her?" it took only minutes to explain what had happened and the sobbing from the other side of the phone came, "your lying." and then the phone went dead, the next day another coffin was arranged for, and the family of once five, went from four to three in a single night. The pain was doubled as the mother never forgot the scene of her daughter aiming the gun to her heart, and ending her life because she couldn't bear life without her father. The funeral was held a week later, there was two coffins, one for her daughter, one for her husband. In her life there were only five things that this woman could never live without and now she had lost two. Her heart was broken and she couldn't fix it. She turned to hold her two crying boys as they dealt with their loss and looked up to find balloons being sent off by that of the loved ones of their family it was the 11 of january, the birth and death of a loved daughter
