• I love dolphins. They are the best animals I know of. If you agree, you would make good friends with me. I love sea creatures. I once went to the ocean and met a special dolphin named Serly. I know it's a funny name but I didn't name him, my dad did. I went to the Pasific Ocean and I wasn't very excited, until I saw the most amazing thing. I first saw a little thing that looked like a dull little rock in the middle of the glittery sea. Then it started coming out smoothly, and it started to look shiny. the eye came up and I knew what was next. the most beautiful thing I had ever seen jumped right over the bow of the ship I was sailing on. My dad was a sea life scientist and he had to watch where it was going. He observed in time that the dolphin was swimming with the ship and he knew that when a dolphin is swimming by a ship, there is something dangerous near the back, following them. My dad looked back and saw a thin, gray, unidentifiable object trailing the boat. My dad ran to the front of the ship and told the captain of the ship that there was a shark following them. The captain went back with him to see the shark. When the captain looked overboard, The shark came up and tried to bite his hand off. He hollered to the crew to turn around now. The crew turned the boat and I got sea sick. I went to the edge of the boat and hurled a lot of water. Amazingly, I saw the dolphin go straight to the shark and ran into it with it's nose. I saw a lot more dolphins come to help get rid of the foul beast. They smacked that shark with all their might until it eventually swam into the clear blue water and left the boat alone. The dolphin stayed with the boat just in case any more sharks come from the deep depths of the ocean to threaten the ship's passengers. My dad was thankful for the dolphin and decided to name him Serly. He just liked the name. The dolphin grew very fond of me and my dad so we started feeding it the fish that we caught for a reward for saving ours, and many other lives.
