• When I woke up, I smelled something delicious. I got past the delicious smell and my hunger, and tried to figure out where I was. I could hear people outside. A group of kids playing, people walking and talking to each other. I didn't really listen to their conversations. I tried to see what was around me, I saw a huge bed with a thin, brown blanket on top of me. I sat up, looked around. I saw a table with some kind of cup of water on it. I looked down onto my bed, something moved. I saw it move again. It was a tail!! I followed to where the tail was coming from, It came out of my back!! I didn't know what to think, I was so confused. I put my hands on my head. I felt something on my head. It was furry. I screamed!!! The door immediately won't open and 4 females were staring at me.
    "She's awake," said one of the girls. I think she was the oldest of the sisters, if they were sisters, and was not happy with a stranger inside their house. She went back to what she was doing.
    "Are you ok?" said the mom, I think she's the mom, she looked like a mom.
    "NOO!" I yelled. "I got a tail, a pair of furry ears..!"
    "And claws and fangs," said the middle child. She had red hair, so did her tail and her ears. They all did. Well they didn't have the same hair color, but what their looked like the tail and the ears were the same color.
    "Fangs?" I said. I lifted my hand to see if she was right. She was. Then I looked at my finger nails. Damn they looked sharp. The mom said, "Go get her something to eat she's probably starving," she said to the middle child. She walked faster than an average human walking pace. I was looking now at the bed sheets. They had tares in them, Probably from me being confused and surprised that I accidentally ripped them.
    The little on answered this time, "Don't worry about it. There old anyway." I scoffed. I noticed that my voice didn't sound right. None of there’s did. I could tell they weren't human. I WASN'T HUMAN!!


    The middle aged sister came back with something that smelled delicious. It was fish. I didn't really like fish when I was human, but now its a different story. She set the food on the bed. The mother told everyone to leave me so I could eat in peace, but I wanted the younger child to stay, but I was to wrapped up in eating to actually say it. But somehow they heard me because the little one did stay. The rest of the girls with confused facial expressions. The reason that I wanted the youngest one to stay was because she looked adorable with her little tail and she seemed interesting to me.
    "What's your name?" I asked her.
    "Etsuka," she answered.
    "I"m Aria," I told her.
    "How did you do that?" Etsuka asked.
    "Do what?" I said.
    "How did you say something without using your mouth?" she asked.
    I took another bite trying to understand what she was saying, but somehow it did make sense. They did hear me without me using my mouth. But how??
    "Does your species have like super-natural powers?" I asked her.
    "Only the foxes. The cats don't though," she answered.
    "Hmmm...so I'm a fox then? because I think I can put thoughts in your head, but I don't know how I do it though." I told her.
    "Maybe," she said."You do have the fox tail though, so there is a possibility that you can do that." I picked the cup of water and started to drink it down. When I was done I asked, "Where am I exactly."
    "Your in Ai's house." she answered. "Ai is the one with the blond hair, and the mother of Choko, the one with black hair, and the one that is soooo happy to see you," she said sarcastically. I rolled my eyes smiling.
    "I'm just here for a visit. Yori's my sister, the one with red hair." She understood that I knew which girl I was talking about.
    "I just live a few miles away from here," Etsuka said. "So we visit quite frequently." A door opened. Someone stepped in the house, put something down and said 'I'm home". It sounded like The Stranger's voice.
    "He's late," said Etsuka.
    "You know him?" I asked.
    "Yes He's Ai's.....uhhhh....Husband." she said. I looked at her funny, were they something else?
    "No no. It's just that we call them mates. I had to think of a 'human' word so you would understand," Etsuka explained.
    "Oh," I said. I guess she heard what I was thinking again. Etsuka nodded. Ai and The Stranger were concerned about something. I could hear it in the voices that something was wrong. The door opened to our room. Yori was standing in the doorway.
    "It's time to go," she said to Etsuka.
    "Bye," Etsuka said to me. Yori waved her hand goodbye, and then the door closed, I was alone again.
