• Once, there was a man who lived in a squatter area with mysterious people around. He was Lando, a poor boy from unknown city.
    Lando came from a broken family. In spite of this, he grew with a great dignity and strong personality. He was also a good composer of songs and poem. He achieved many things because of his father. But unfortunately, his father, the only person who really cares for him, died. He was so depressed that time. He didn’t stop crying and crying all night on the road. Suddenly, a girl came, wiped the tears of Lando away and said, “Don’t worry, everything will be fine”. Lando felt ashamed of these words of the girl and so he went to his house to relax.
    Many months had passed, Lando had already moved on. Since the night when she saw the girl, he didn’t stop thinking about her. He even tried to search for that girl to thank to.
    One morning, while Lando was walking along the road, feeling lucky, he met the girl she saw before. He didn’t let the time passed again and grabbed the opportunity to thank the girl and to know her name too.
    So he said while pretending, “Oh! You look familiar to me. May I know your name?”
    “Ahhh.....me?”
    “Yes, don’t you remember me?”
    “Ah, I remember you, I’m Elsa. I live there near the municipal.”
    “Really?”
    “Yes. My father is one of the doctors there in General Hospital.”
    “How great! How fortunate you are! By the way, thanks for helping me.”
    “You’re welcome, I’m glad to help you. Alas! I have to go, bye!”
    “Ok, bye.”
    After that morning, Lando started to court the girl. A few weeks later, they became very close and at last, have a relationship.
    One day, both of them decided to go and say to the parents of Elsa about their relationship.
    “Good morning sir! We, I and Elsa, would want to ask for your permission for our marriage.”
    “No way, you don’t have the right poor boy!!! Get out of my house, now! Elsa, you will migrate to US tomorrow or else you won’t see that man forever!”
    But of course, Elsa and Lando fought for their love so they decided to escape and live together in a far place. Many years, Lando and Elsa lived peacefully together. Even though they were just poor, still they’re happy.
    One Thursday evening, Elsa went to a market for their supper. She didn’t know that it would be the last supper for her. She was hold-upped and killed for the money.
    When the news led to Lando, he was totally blocked out and totally shocked ‘bout the very bad news he received. Since that night, he never stopped crying and crying and hoping that Elsa would give him an advice again. But the only thing he heard was the song that says:
    Wag kang mabahala may nagbabantay sa dilim
    Nag-aabang sa sulok at may hawak na patalim
    Di ka hahayaan na muli pang masaktan
    Wag ka nang matakot sa dilim

    “Elsa won’t ever come back again....”
