• A young boy started walking up staircases until he found himself on a plat form. He looked. there was nothing but darkness. He stepped forword. Then, the plat form started to shake. a voice called out to him. "Sora....the closer you get to the light, the greater your shadow becomes." Sora did not understand this, but when he turned around, he saw his shadow rising from the ground and formed into a gaint dark monster. the monster's eyes where yellow, and where the the heart should be there was a hole shaped like a heart. Sora ran, but he couldnt go anywhere-he reached the end of platform. Then, the voice called to him again, "Don't be afriad...don't forget...." Sora did not understand what could be happening. The Monster stepped toward Sora. Sora stood there, fearful. Sora then felt something in his hand. He look and saw what looked like a huge key. Sora had no other choice....he had to fight the monster with this key.

    The monster swung his hand at Sora, but Sora blocked him. He tried to hit his arms, legs, hands, but nothing worked. Sora then reliezed he had tried everywhere but his face. He jumped on the monster's arm and swung at it's face. Both Sora and the Monster fell. Darkness swarmed around Sora. He tried to push away but couldn't, he was going to be overtaken...but then, the voice called out to Sora, "Don't be afraid....Don't forget-that you are the one...who will open the door.."

    Sora opened his eyes to see water. He was on a beach. He sat up and gave a yawn. He looked up to see a girl with short red hair staring at him "WHOA!" The girl giggled. Sora smiled, "gimme a break ,Kairi!" "Sora you lazy bum! I knew I'd find you snoozing down here!" Kairi said. "No! this huge black THING swallowed me up! i couldn't breathe! I couldn't--" Kairi gave him a light bump on the head. "Ow!" "Are you still dreaming?" she asked with a giggle. "It wasn't a dream! Or was it...i dunno..." he said. "Yeah sure!" Kairi walked over to the shoreline. Sora turned to her,"say Kairi, what was your hometown like? you know, where you grew up?" Kairi smiled,"I told you before, I don't remember" "Nothing, at all?" Sora asked. "Nothing." Kairi said. "you ever wanna go back, Kairi?" "Hmm...well! I'm happy here! but...you know...it wouldn't mind going to see it." Sora smiled, "I'd like to see it too! Like all the other other worlds out there! I wanna see them all!" "Hey" a voice said. Kairi and Sora turned around to see a boy with a log on his shoulder. "Aren't you forgetting about us!" Behind the boy was a girl with shoulder length black hair. She smiled and giggled. "That's right! Don't go taking off without Riku and me around! hehehe!" Riku threw the log at Sora. "WHOA!" Kairi giggled. "And you just as lazy as he is!" Riku said. "hehe so you noticed!" Kairi said. the girl with the black hair took the log and put it aside. "Thanks, Luna!" Luna smiled, "No problem!" Riku sat next to Sora. Luna and Kairi smiled at each other. "Hey! lets have a race!" Kairi shouted. "What?" Riku said. Luna giggled, "Ready set...GO!" Sora and Riku got up and ran as fast as they could. Luna and Kairi followed them.
