Introduction
My emotions welled inside me, like I had no place to go, and no one to talk to. I ached and yearned for a person to talk to. Someone who knew how much pain I was in, and understand why I was in pain as well. The loud screams seemed to echo from the downstairs living room, bounced around against the walls of my room. I sat there trying to think, but finding everything just so hard for a few moments, then I finally heard the yelling stop, and someone walk down the hall and slam a door. This meant one of two things; either dad’s sleeping on the couch for being a drunk, or mom is getting in trouble or coming home high.
I breathed slowly, the slowly walked to my window and slid it open. I slipped out onto the balcony, and just stood there. I took a step standing there on the railing, then jumped falling onto my feet. I walked threw the trees and into the large forest that seemed to stretch for miles on end. I couldn’t explain it to anyone, but at first it seemed so simple. We loved each other, and we where the same. I tried to fight the sobs that rose quickly in my throat.
I walked to the large willow slowly that seemed to take up a large amount of space from the way it’s branches slowly snaked out. I traces my fingers in the rough and worn words that had been carved into the trunk of the large tree. I breathed so softly, so calm, so happy for that one second. “Aeryn and Jake Forever” was as plain as day in large bulky letters. I stood there starting to shake, then sob, staring at those words, which forever carved into my memory, as well as this tree.
I can’t even explain why I was here, because I don’t ever know a Jake, but my name is Aeryn. I had the feeling that I wasn’t remembering what I should, like this wasn’t the only important part. The wind blew locks of my dark brown hair astray, and made me shiver. I shook in agony as an unbearable pain crept over me. I fell to my knees, and I sat there trying my hardest to remember. This didn’t make since, but then again hardly anything did. I looked towards the sky, and how the moon was full, and shined brightly threw the vine like branches. Things like this don’t happen, because you don’t just wake up one day and forget a person you might love. Okay, maybe it you had amnesia, but I didn’t remember any accidents that had happened that might have caused it. Wait, amnesia duh, I wouldn’t remember. I looked at the name Jake long and hard before I finally asked aloud, “ Where did you go, and why don’t I remember you?” The wind howled, as if trying to answer me, but I pushed the thought from my mind concentrating harder on the name.
It doesn’t fit, but why? I felt a angry growl rise in my throat before I finally lashed out in a mad unavoidable rage against the trunk of the tree. “ That’s not nice you know. Someone might have went threw a lot of trouble to carve that.” I whipped around to look, but only to found nothing. “Up here you goofy girl.” the voice came again, as I slowly began to look up. Then I saw him, there sitting in the branches of one of the farther off trees. He was different looking, and handsome. The dark red looking hair, pale creamy skin, and seemed to be built strong.
“ Are you Jake?” I asked dumb founded, but he only shook his head. A sad look washed over his face at that moment, then a fake smile was plastered over it. “But, I can take you to him.” his voice seemed to ring in a strong determined way. “ I just want to know who he is, and why it says this here.” I said pointing at the clearly written words on the trunk of the tree. At that second, he jumped from the branch he was perching on, and seemed to float down in front of me. I backed up slowly in fear and what felt like astonishment, because whatever he was, I had the feeling he knew exactly what I was.
I stepped farther back letting my back hit the base of the tree. He smiled stepping forward, and gently held a long muscular hand out. “ I won’t hurt you,” he said softly as he drew closer still. I looked up at him, then became immediately became lost in his dark pine green eyes. I wasn’t scared anymore, but I was attracted to this stunning creature. “I know Jake. Okay, I promise. I’m his fraternal twin brother, Drake.” I nodded a bit wordless, still able to tell he was getting closer. “ I promise you this: This may seem scary and maybe even crazy, but your not human.” I snapped back stunned more then frightened.
I felt different from say one, and I always had from then on. Maybe, just maybe, this explain it all I closed my eyes, and tried to think back on a time where things hadn’t been normal. I became angry again, for there was a large chuck of my memory that I just couldn’t remember. It was like it was clear what was bothering me, because he stepped closer smoothing his hair back, and spoke softly over the echo of the wind,” It’s alright if you don’t remember, because you’ll be able to soon enough.” I shiver knowing he was possibly right. “ Take me. Please,” my voice rang out hardly making it over the wind’s monstrous howl. He only smiled stepping closer, then leaned in. I shook not able to believe this. He stood there closing his eyes, as if he were trying to ignore everything I had just said. I watched him as he breathed a cool sweet smelling breath into my face. My world became to spin, and pull in and out in an intoxicating movement. I cried out not even sure I made even the most plausible sound. I stood there my head swimming with thoughts, and my mind racing to answer them all. I looked at him slowly wondering what was happening to me, and if it was natural. He just stood there and smiled at me, as if I were okay. Before I could scream for help, or strain to mummer the simplest words, I fell into an alluring deep valley of darkness, that numbed my body and soothed my mind.

It is very clever and a nice plot to it so far, but I agree with Jean Delano. You do have grammatical(repeating some of the same words) and spelling errors. But don't worry, we all have our fair share of those.
Try to indent, it gives the readers eyes a brake. - Report As Spam

- This was really good. I would like to see a follow up to this! Just a few grammatical and spelling errors, this was very well done. I love the emotion of it.
