• Chapter 21 Beta’s Demise:

    Arc was standing near where Bravo exploded himself and Beta. Steven walked over slowly and with his head down. He looked up with a bit of tears in his eyes “darn allergies…” He muttered to himself and Arc. Arc looked up “do you hear something?” He asked Steven as he was trying to listen. Steven looked up “… You’ve got to be kidding me.” He said as he and Arc stepped back. A few moments later screaming could be heard loud and clear as they saw Beta falling from the sky. He hit the ground and you could hear bones crack and could see them move out of place. Beta was screaming at the top of his lungs and his bones and skin slowly fixed them self. After a few minuets of screaming it turned into laughter as Beta slowly stood up. “Did he really think a little explosion could stop me? Bravo you are a fool, my brother!” He stood up straight and slowly walked towards Arc and Steven who slowly moved back. Arc stopped moving back and made a fist with his right hand. “A fool? You are the fool Beta! You never know when to die!”

    Amy heard screaming and she shot up from the bed. She went to the door to see Shonic and Order standing there. Shonic turned and looked at Amy. “Amy? You should be in bed.” She walked out of the room and headed towards the front door. “I’m fine, but I think they need us out there.” Arc please be ok she thought to herself as she opened the front door and started to walk out. Order shrugged and him and Shonic followed her out.

    Steven heard the door open and saw Amy, Shonic, and Order come out the door. “Hey, what are you doing out here?” Amy looked around and ignored Steven’s question. “Where’s Bravo?” Arc’s fist tightened and he curled his wrist. Beta laughed “he uselessly blew himself up!” Arc stepped forward “enough Beta!” He jumped forward at a speed that Beta couldn’t dodge or block the punch Arc threw at his face. It connected and that side of his face caved in until it healed itself. Beta stood up with a look of amazement on his face. “How did you do that?” He stepped back a little. Arc looked at and sprinted foreword. Beta could barely see him, but this time instead of a punch Arc’s nails grew and sharpened. He swung his arms wildly and fast at Beta who couldn’t keep up. Arc’s arms moved faster than could be seen, but a blue glow did start to form around his hands, which seemed to explode out the other side of Beta every time Arc connected. After a few seconds of swiping Arc stepped back letting his arms hand low as well as his head which was tilted just enough to look at Beta. Beta staggered back and the wounds seem to ungulate, but did not heal. He wrapped his arms around his chest and stomach and fell foreword. He stopped his fall at his knees and coughed blood up on the ground. “Why?! Why won’t it heal?” He shouted as the wounds kept undulating trying to heal.

    Arc’s nails grew back to normal size and he fell to one knee gasping for breath. Beta looked at him “what did you do to me?” He asked as he tried to move foreword, but he fell the rest of the way. Arc managed to look up at Beta “giving you the death you deserve.” Arc smiled then fainted. Amy ran up to Arc “are you alright?” she asked while picking him up. Steven walked over to Arc and Amy. He looked at Beta “he’ll bleed out in a short while.” He looked down at Arc and thought, “what was that?”
