• There was once a boy, who held all the power in the world. None opposed him, but one. He was called the Dark one. The Dark one tried to steal this magic from the boy, but the boy faced him in combat and defeated him. Years later the Dark one rose again, but this time he brought down the boy. Using the last of his strength the boy sacrificed himself, and destroyed the Dark one forever.................

    Or so he thought.

Years later, in a different time. A young boy comes across the Dark one's power. He accepts it, and tries to control it. This power is too much for the boy. He ends up losing his memory, and gets lost in the forest. Dazed and confused the boy stumbles through the forest, until he bumps into an elderly man. He falls before his feet. The old man bends down and takes him to his home..........

This is where the real story begins.

"Rain will you come in here please?'' "Coming Master Shou!" shouted Rain. It had been 10 years since Shou had found Rain. Now at the age of sixteen, Rain worked as an apprentice for Shou, studying the art of magic. "Rain today I want you to go out in the forest and see if you can find something for dinner." Shou sat down in the chair and rubbed his belly. "But Master! It's your turn to do supper!" Said Rain. "Why do you yell at an elderly man like me? YOU SHOULD RESPECT YOUR ELDERS!" Rain bowed his head. "I'm sorry Master. I will be back tonight!" After saying that Rain ran out the door. "Heh he heh... That kid cracks me up!'' said Shou.

    Meanwhile outside the forest.

"Maiho get back here this instant!" shouted a teacher. "I have had enough of you Ori Sensai!" shouted Maiho. She stormed out the door of the school and ran off.
Meet Maiho. A 16 year old girl with a bad attitude. This morning her teacher made a fool of her in front of the whole school. So Maiho ran away.

"Haa...Haa....Man I ran to far!" Maiho plopped down onto the ground to catch her breath. She waited a few minutes, then looked up to see where she was. "Oh...my...God....! THE WITCHES FOREST??? No! No! No! I can't be in here!" Throughout the village, the witches forest is off limits to those who want to keep their lives. The witches forest is home to all sorts of strong trolls, and other monsters. In a panic Maiho got up and ran, blind, through the forest. ROAR!" Maiho turned around just to be face to face with a giant, ugly, troll.

Just as she was about to run again, her foot got caught in a root. "Ahh!" she fell to the ground. "No!! It can't end here! I'm sorry Ori Sensai!! Just get me outta here!" Maiho was in tears now. She covered her head and lay still on the ground. The ground shook as the troll stepped up behind her. "GRRR!" The troll raised the club it was holding, then struck down furiously.

    Back with Rain now.

"Hmm... I wonder what master wants for dinner? Maybe berries?" Rain bent down and picked up some berries. He popped one in his mouth. "Ugh. Sour. Maybe not." He spat it out. He wandered through the forest. Then he heard a scream. He turned around, and followed in the direction the sound came from. He traveled through the trees, until he came across a troll. He looked underneath the troll, and saw the source of the scream. "What is that?" Rain thought. He saw that the troll was attacking the strange creature. Rain jumped down and pulled out his sword. "Hi-ya!" He sent the troll flying backward.

On the ground Maiho looked up to what the troll was doing. In the trolls place she saw a boy instead. He looked at her. His green eyes, never moving away from hers. "Stay Back!" He said. His harsh voice scared Maiho the most. She tried to say okay. but all that came out was a pathetic little squeak.

Rain continued to fight off the troll. When he defeated it, he came over and sat as far away from the creature as possible. After a few minutes of staring at it, he walked over and poked it in the head. "WHAT THE HECK WAS THAT FOR, YOU JERK?" Rain jumped back and grabbed his sword. "W-what the heck are you?" "What the heck do you think I am, you stupid fool!" The creature was waving it's arms around furiously. Another few minutes passed, and then Rain looked down his shirt. Trying not to laugh, Maiho managed to spit out her words. "What the heck are you doing?" "Well you look like me, but the only problem is you have lumps and I don't!" He continued looking down his shirt as he said this. "WELL YOU BETTER NOT HAVE THEM IF YOUR A BOY!" "A Boy?" asked Rain.

"Yes you. A B-O-Y. BOY!" shouted Maiho. It was then that Maiho noticed the blood coming through his shirt sleeve. "Oh my gosh! Your arm! What happened." Rain looked down and covered it with his hand. "It's nothing." he said. "It's not nothing!" Rain just looked at her. "You should probably leave the forest now." He said. "I don't want to leave! I am never going back to that pit!" "Um...well I guess you could come to my house?" "You live in here? This forest." "Yep I do!" The boy smiled at her. A warm smile. He turned to walk away. "Hey you coming?" Maiho started blushing. "I kind of can't walk. I hurt my ankle when I fell." "Oh...." "You have to carry me!" "I WHAT!" "Please, I don't want to go back." Seeing it's face, Rain decided it was okay. "Your not going to bite me are you, are you poisonous?" he walked over cautiously, and bent over. Helped it on then ran off.

At somepoint Rain looked at the creature he held on his back, and realized that it had fallen asleep. "Huh wierd thing it is." He continued on the way home. "Master Shou! I found something really strange!" Rain went inside and set the creature on the bed. "Rain, this is another human being!" Said Shou. Rain looked at him, confused.
"I'll explain everything when she wakes up okay?" Said Shou. "Wait She?" "Rain go and wrap up your arm." "But..." "Just go and do it." "Fine!" Rain walked to the bathroom and tended to his arm. After that he went to bed.
