Ian was running his shop as usual, when a mysterious stranger entered it.
He said: "Hello Ian, I have a surprise for you! I have perilously explored the Gambino mansion and then I found this: A book that contains all of the Gambino family's light and not-so-light secrets! But I have no use for them, so I will give you this for only 500 gold!" Ian could not resist the temptation to exploit the Gambinos for a get-rich-quick scheme that will make him the richest man in Gaia, so he paid the 500 gold (which was all the money he made from the shop), and the stranger left. When Ian opened the book, he found it was blank, and that the stranger had tricked him. "oh well", ian sighed, "i could always write in it my life story.......". "save it", rufus said rughly,"no one is intrested in you. you are a total loser who gave his life insurance to a stranger claiming to have a great book. in fact- you are fired."
ian left the shop, holding the book in his hands. he walked down the street and suddenly saw a stall that had many books next to it. he looked up at the sighn that was on top of the stall, and he read it out loud: "buy for 50 coins a blank book so you can go to ian and sell it to him for 500 gold, claiming it containes the gambino secrets! more can be bought at the gambino's castle. 100% guarantee that he will buy it, the sucker that he is+the writer of this book is a dolt......."

- Interesting and short. Two suggestions. Don't use "Ian said this:" and then use quotes. Just use the quotes and take out the colons. You would benefit from making your story into paragraphs so it's easier to read. Happy writing.
