• That little boy.
    Hair as white as snow.
    But his eyes are black.
    Why are they black?
    I can't think.
The little boy is scaring me, mamma.

"Sissy?" I can hear my little brother call for me.
"What?" I demand. Im reading my book. Why can't he leave me alone?
    "Sissy, come here."
I sigh. "Fine." Standing up, I walk over to my bedroom door and walk out into the hall. My little brother is standing in front of me. Beside him, holding his hand, is another little boy. "And who is this?" I say in a babyish voice. I smile at the little boy, and he smiles back. Zach just shrugs.
I take the Zach in my arms and take him to his room. When I walk back out, I see my mom. She's standing at the top of the stairs, just staring at me. Her brown eyes look black in the light.
I pick the little boy up and straddle him on my side. "There we go. Comfy?" The little boy nods. I turn to my mother. "Mom? Do you know Zach has a friend over?"
She stares at me like i'm crazy. "Honey, what are you doing? Why are you wraping your arms around like that? It can't be comfortable." I gaze at her like a retard until I finaly get it. She can't see the little boy. I look back at him and gasp. His face was a light shade of blue, his beautiful blonde hair now a light shade of black. And his eyes... I coundn't see his eyes!
I droped the boy and ran. My breath came in short gasps, and my heart was pounding. Suddenly, I relized something was burning. I looked in my bathroom, and my parents room. No fire there, so I looked in the guestroom.
The room was ablaze. Heat blasted out, the flames licking at my face. I gasped; in the corner, laying next to the closet, was an older me. I looed at myself and how aged I was. My hair was a dark shade of grey, and wrinkles covered my entire body. She looked at me just as a plank of wood was falling over her, and said, "Run. Run while you still can!"
