• Me and the rest of the surviving soldiers exited the life pod. As i exited i checked our surroundings, I saw nothing more than trees, mountains and what looked to be a signaling structure. Johnson called for evac once everybody had exited the life pod. "Look a Covenant dropship imbound!" called out a soldier. Johnson then ordered us to stage a defense at the alien structure.
    Once everyone had reached the structure we took our defensive positions. As the dropship was landing to dropoff its payload i noticed another life pod going down south of our postion. "Get ready marines!" Johnson yelled. The shots from the dropship were devistating and what came out was worse. We held our postion and let our bullets fly.
    "Watch out plasma grenade!" I shouted to Rodrigez at the top of my lungs, but it was too late it had stuck to his chest and blew him apart. "Ricky snipe 'em!" Johnson ordered. Without hesitation I quickly armed myself with a sniper rifle and took out three grunts.
    Another dropship came and dropped off covenant reinforcements. We all retreated to the top of the building. While sniping saw one of my targets get shot from its backside. I looked up and saw the Master Chief coming in to help. With his presence everyones momentum had rose and soon got rid of the threat below.
    After a that a few more dropships came in individually. The enemy was massacerd with the chiefs help. "Look we got two more, one north the other south!" Johnson shouted. From the looks of it they were trying to flank us which wasn't good. They must have decided to throw in two payloads at once.
    "Fall back men!" Johnson ordered. I was still scoping out more covenant from the top of the building."Damn that's a lot..." I said to myself calmly.
    "Get ready for one last stand!" Johnson said awaiting the covenant charge. I saw a few jackles trying to flank us on our leftside, I let Kevin and Romero know so they could defend that side. I then noticed more life pods coming down.
    Before i knew it guns just started lighting up and i started sniping again. "Watch out incoming plasma!" Jenkins yelled. Our two techs were caught in the blast radius an were pulled back. Chief was giving them shots all over their bodies. I went to assist Kevin and Romero on the leftside.
    Ariming myself with my AR i took aim an pulled the trigger. The jackles energy shields couldn't be penetrated, so I rushed up an swung my rifle at them knocking them off balance giving Kevin and Romero a clean shot at both. I turned back and saw Jenkins take a needle through the neck. He looked at me as blood gushed from his wound an his mouth. I looked at the two injured techs shooting from behind a wall in the prone position. Johnson was next to Chief lettin loose on the elites coming up on the rightside. I ran to get my sniper when my leg was hit by a needle. It just barely scratched my leg so i really wasn't affected. I took my sniper an started head-hunting any covenant i saw.
    I noticed a group of grunts cowering behind a tree, i notified Kevin an he threw in a frag. When it exploded the grunts went flying and we were left victorious in this battle.
    "This is Echo-419 does anybody copy?"
    Johnson replies "Yea, we need an airlift to wherever the other survivors are."
    "And Foe-Hammer can we use that warthog, were gonna check for anymore survivors." Cortana added.
    "Sure thing," she said detaching the warthog, "alright people lets gettin movin Foe-Hammer out."
    Everyone but me Kevin an the chief left with E-419. We got in the warthog an drove toward the crashsites.......to be continued.......
