Her mother was holding her close. At age twenty two she had two kids, and she loved them so much. And she knew she was going to leave them. She grasped her child close and carefully ran her fingers through her two year olds hair., as she listened silently to the sound of her daughters breathing. She didn't want to leave her children. She felt the tear slowly fall down her cheek and watched as it fell onto her daughters head. The little girl quickly raised a hand to where the tear had fallen on her head, as she shockingly looked up at her mother with those crystal sea clue eyes.
The look on her daughters face went from shocked to worried as she saw her mother crying. She moved her hand from the top of her head to her mothers face. The little girl ran her fingers down the line where the tear had fallen as if to try to wipe it away.
She was looking silently down at her daughter as she tried to wipe the tears away. her daughter was beautiful with her dark hair hanging loosely around her face. She had fair white skin that was smooth to the touch and she had small lips that were strained with concentration at the moment. She softly laughed to her self, but no matter how much she tried to concentrate on her daughters features she could not keep her eyes from looking at her daughters concerned eyes. Though concentrated and concerned, they were mesmerizing. At first glance you would think that they just a sea blue, but the longer you looked into them you would realize that they looked like they were laced with ice, giving them a crystal like cold stare.
She focused on her daughter and realized that she was no longer trying to wipe the tears away, but just sitting there looking up at her mother. She pulled her daughter close. She laid her head onto her daughters as if to prevent her daughter to see her cry any further. It was as if her daughter knew.
"Baby girl, i will always love you." She stood and walked across the room to the small petite bed that sat in the corner and laid her daughter down.
" Are you ready?" A smooth silky velvet voice rose from the corner of the room.
She took a deep breathe and turned to look at the man.
"I was just saying good bye." he opened his arms as if inviting her to come brace his comfort. She walked slowly over to him and put her hands to his chest as he closed his arms around her, to embrace her. pulling her close.
The little girl sat there and watched her mother embrace this strange man. She stared at him and he stared back. His golden blue eyes seemed to warm her, making her sleepy. She would never forget him, she thought, he was beautiful. she shook her little head. Not like her mother, but... She laid her head down as he looked at her mother and whispered to her.
Venessa looked at her daughter slowly drifting off to sleep. How this child was hers and her husbands, she would never know. She beautifel now, so what would she look like when she was coming of age?
She watched as her mother turned and watched her fall to sleep. Her voice rang loud and clear as she spoke , as she and the man disappeared.
"Good bye Cameal."
