*rinnngg* rinnngg* jolting awake jen looked at the clock and groaned. opening her cell she snapped "what!?" a male voice came over the line and then she realized it was her boss. "we have a new body down at the morgue, i need you to come." "this couldn't wait two hours?" jen said snappily and then she sighed unhappily saying into the phone "i'll be there in 20 minutes."

Just fix the e e cummings - esque nature of it and I'm sure it'll be a good start. No capital letters may work for poetry, but prose makes a difficult read of it even if you are Samuel Beckett.
