Hired as a waitress at Gold Mountain, Kottan was awed by the magic she saw on stage. Deciding to become a magician, Kottan tried performing her own magic trick. Unfortunately, failing to read "Magic Tricks for Dummies", disaster struck. By the time paramedics arrived, rats had nibbled away the victim's fingernails. The victim, identified as Lex, survived. Some time later, Gaian officials created a RIG in homage to the incident. This RIG was known as the LeXBox.
