Chapter 7
Chapter 7
Awaken the Supreme Vindicator: Haku Doesn’t save the Day?!?

“That’s Right! I’m Paying all Four-thousand of my Life Points to power up my Robo-Vindicator Eledapter-Flare by 4,000 points, now he has 6,000!” Haku said.
“That’s a very risky move, I’ll let you take it back if you want, because defeating you that way wouldn’t be as fun.” Zen said.
“Haku, what the hell are you thinking?” Al yelled. “Are life is on the line here! You can’t loose!” Al was so hyped, he was about to pass out.
“I won’t take that offer, but I will do this! Discard Golden Shield of the Vindicator! This means I don’t loose if I pay all my points and I gain 2000 at the end of my turn. But if I don’t beat you in 5 turns I automatically loose.” Haku said. He placed the Shield in the cemetery slot. A giant golden shield hooked onto his Eledapter.
“What?!? When did those damned Vindicators get such powerful cards?!?” Zen shouted as he realized that Eledapter had a total of 6,000 Attack points, large enough to wipe out his Gilford. “That means I take 3,400 points of damage! I have 600 points left! I’m still in it. I can still beat you!” He shouted as he realized that it was over for Haku’s turn.
“Yea, I guess that’s it for now. Go!” Haku said as he changed is life point counter to 2000. Then he removed the Golden sword from his vindicator. The shield and sword went to the cemetery.
“Finally! I play Tribute to the doomed. I toss one card. Now I get to kill one of your monsters! Bye to your Eledapter!” He said as he placed his La Jinn in the cemetery. Haku put Eledapter-Flare in the cemetery as well. “Now I remove Gilford and La Jinn from play to special summon, Envoy of the Beginning-the Black Luster Soldier.” He brought out the toughest card in his deck on the second turn. He was good. “Attack!”
“You remember my Vindicator shield right? I have another card very similar. Its called Vindicator March-Blue Moon. By discarding it from my hand, I can make one monster on my side of the field invincible for one turn. But now I need a monster, so I’ll discard my Vindicator March-Red Sun now!” Haku placed two cards in his cemetery and then pulled out his Man-at-Arms. “Now attack it! You can’t kill him, He’s Invincible.”
“I end my turn.” Zen said. He knew that Haku saved himself twice. There couldn’t be much left in Zen’s deck to keep him alive after Envoy dies, but could Haku last four more turns. After all, The Vindicator march cards destroy the monster at the end of the turn.
“Now I draw. This will be my first time using him, so here it goes! I remove: March of the Vindicator-Blue Moon and Red Sun, Gold Sword, and Gold Shield. Now I summon my strongest Vindicator! Robo-Vindicator Time!” A head with a partially destroyed mask appeared, with a body, no limbs. Just then the giant legs on the pictures of the Vindicator March cards appeared as legs for Time. A red arm extended outward from Times Right arm section and grabbed the Golden Sword. Another blue arm extended on Times left side arose and grabbed the golden Shield.
“So you have a big monster now. It doesn’t have a single attack point!” Zen said, as he noticed Al and Famous disappeared.
“Oh yea, well check out his ability. He gains 2000 Attack points when he is summoned. Next he can bring back one monster in my grave, so come on back Man-at-arms. At the cost of half my life points, no monster will be destroyed on my field this turn. Also, I get to use the effects of gold sword and shield. Now I play, Noble Battle.” Noble Battle was a key card in most players decks, it took monsters like Sangan and other destroyed in battle effect monsters, destroyed them and activated its effects.
“What?!” Zen was impressed that Haku had such a card that powerful. I don’t get it, what are you doing?”
“Monster effects are activated by my destroyed monster! Man-at-Arms, equip to Time! This increases his attack by 500. Now I will pay 900 life points to power up with golden shield. This brings my life points down to 50. Now by paying half, bringing me down to 25, No monsters on my field are destroyed until my next turn. Robo-Vindicator Time, Attack!”
Zen’s Soldier was destroyed. He had 600 life points, but after the attack, he now had 200. “Ok, you did your thing, now we all die. My turn. I drew the greatest card in my deck. Just what I need to finish you. I cast the fire ball, Hinotama! I don’t need to destroy your monsters, you’re dead, just like we all will be.”
“We got your back bro!” Al called, while standing on Famous’s shoulders, reaching for a key. The two of them grabbed the key and race toward the door.
“Your life points hit zero, you will not escape.” Zen said as he threw his body into huge metal crates. The crates slid over and barricaded the door. Just as soon as Al made it three feet from the door, Zen popped the Sweet Escape pill and passed out on the crates. As he fell down he hit the button which activated the mercury tanks. The boys had just 3 minutes until the mercury would fill the air, doing permanent damage to the brain.
“I…I’m sorry Al, Famous…Its all my fault.” Haku stuttered as his duel disk retracted. He dropped to the floor with soggy eyes. His tears began to land on the ground below his face. ‘We’re really going to die here..’ Haku thought.
“You tried your best.” Al said, trying to comfort him.
“It wasn’t good enough!” Haku yelled with a fury. He flipped his head up and stared straight up in the sky. “ I must fix this!” Haku said with a deeper, darker voice. Some thing bad was happening. Haku stood up and walked over to the door where Zen lied. “You! You did this! You tried to kill us! This is unjust! You must be vindicated!” Haku shouted as his hand retch out and grabbed Zen’s skull. Sparks flew. Zen vomited up the pill and began to cough. Haku dragged Zen by the skull to the tanks of mercury. “Fix this!” Haku shouted to Zen.
“I…I don’t know how.” Zen stuttered.
“Liar! Fix it now!” Haku shouted in a demonic voice.
“Okay, hold on...If I disconnect this, and snip that. Ok, I turned it off!” Zen said. He didn’t really fix it, he just grabbed a gas mask and sped up the timer. He then took off running and put on the gas mask.
Al and famous starred speechless and the events occurring in front of them. They couldn’t believe their eyes. Haku, the funny laidback, cocky teen turned into a demonic killing machine…
