The clock keeps ticking
as the seas rage
and one more story turns nearer
to its final page

A young boy, confused and upset
finding ways to escape
in hopes to forget
the pain of knowing
how it feels to be alone
his mind always growing
to try to hide the unknown
Bud his clock keeps ticking
as the seas rage
the story of his life's turns nearer
to it's ending page

He smiles, so they don't worry
but he never forgets
that they'll leave him in a hurry.
So he hides his pain
he puts on a pathetic act
though he feels he's goin insane
he keeps wearing this mask
but his clock keeps ticking
as the seas rage
his life's story turning nearer
to it's ending page

His mask soon falls apart
his true self revealed
his bleeding heart knowing
that is fate is now sealed.

His real side is shown,
but he'll never know the truth
so he spends his time alone
wasting his youth
the ones he once loved
he slowly starts evading
and he spends his time alone
sitting there waiting
for his clock to stop ticking
so the seas don't rage
for his life's story to reach
it's final page.
