What's Deserved Always Gets Served
Story Time :]
There were people everywhere, in military suits and holding guns, and when I looked down, I realized I was doing the same. I tried to ask what was going on, but I couldn't talk. I followed my troop to where they were running, it seemed to lead nowhere, but at least they were doing something. I looked around me, nothing but fields everywhere, not a single building in sight, and before I knew it, we reached our destination: a man dressed in full black standing in front of what appeared to be a large, glowing egg.

The man took the mallet in his hand and slammed it into the egg, before being pummeled by bullets from my troop's guns. It was too late, though; the man did his job. A bright light erupted from the egg, and next was.... nothing.

I awoke hours later, for it seemed to be daytime. I was alone, and missing some of my ammo. I looked around, trying to find somebody, something, with an answer, but couldn't find anything for a while.

The first two people I came in contact with.... one was laying on the ground, and the other looked as if he had fallen asleep on his comerade. I moved closer, looking to make sure they were alright, then the one that wasn't laying flat on the ground looked up. His eyes were pure black, and the lower portion of his face was covered with blood. I then realized that this man was eating his comerade. Thinking of zombies, I grabbed my gun and shot the man in the head. He crumpled to the ground, and I shot the man laying down, just to make sure it wouldn't jump out at me.

It went like that for what seemed to be hours; I came up to people, and realized they were these zombie-like creatures, then killed them. I headed for the area I remembered from the night before, the place with the glowing "egg". Somehow I knew where I was going, yet I felt as if I wasn't controlling myself.

I reached the area, the remains of the "egg", and stopped in front of it, staring at it silently. Then a question came to me: Why was I the only one unaffected by this... this thing? Unluckily for me, that was the last question I would ask, for as soon as I turned around, a large crowd of zombies surrounded me. I took out my gun and aimed it at one, but couldn't fire. I was out of ammunition. I began to panic, I looked around, trying to find a way to escape, but there was none. The zombies were closing in, moving closer and closer with each step, until they were right next to me. Then they all jumped at me, and I gave a bloodcurdling scream as I was eaten alive.

I woke up in a cold sweat at 3:30am, for real this time, scared and disoriented. I felt a small spark of pain in my arms, as if someone had bitten me, but I knew it was all in my head.

This is what I get for drinking too much Mt.Dew before going to bed. ^_^;;
