The Ramblings of a Woman
I will talk about whatever I want. Which may or may not include a long list of books, comics, myths, historical happenings, current happenings, and my own philosophical ramblings.
heart Hello! How is everyone? Sorry I was gone so long. But I happen to be back now and with THREE! new posts. My last two posts were the backs of two manga I have been reading, when a friend of mine asked what they were about I offered to post the backs for her.
heart If I mention a book but I don't end up posting it's back and you'd really like to know about it well just leave a comment or pm me and I'll post it as soon as I can for you. BUT, if I have multiple requests for books then this is how it'll work

*books being requested by more than one person will be moved to the top on the list of whats getting posted.
*Books requested by people who have been kind enough to comment on something before they ever gave me a request for a book will also get bumped to the top of the list.
*People who ask a request and also mention helpful critisim in one comment that is their first comment come next.
*People who only ask for a request and say nothing else will be low on the list

ninja So in conclusion that is my rules on requests for posts. *Also please note some books will have to wait do to the fact that I may not have them in my possesion at the time of a request and some I can only do during certain time frames do to the fact that I've borrowed them*

biggrin On with the books, I recently borrowed a book from my Aunt called Icefire by Chris D'Lacey. It's the second book in a trilogy (the name of the Trilogy escapes me), the first book being The Fire Within. The third book I beleive is called Fire Star. Its a great story to follow involving a collage student, a legend on dragons, clay dragons, and the women who makes them along with her daughter. Plus as an added bonus theres hedgehogs named Spikey and squirells(sp?) named Snigger. This book is for dragon lovers old and young. I own The Fire Within and have finished reading it, while I happen to be agood ways into Icefire. I can't wait to finish it so that I can start Fire Star.
biggrin I have also been reading two books called The Last Wolf of Ireland by Elona Maltarre and Farewell to Manzanar by Jeanne Wakatsuki Houston and James D. Houston. In The Last Wolf of Ireland a young boy named Devin tries to take care of three young wolf cubs and save them from the hunters after them seeing as how wolves in Ireland are hot on the market with these cubs being probally the only wolves left. In Farewell to Manazanar we follow the story of Jeanne Wakatsuki as she at seven years old is uprooted along with the rest of her family and sent to live at an internment camp with ten thousand other Japanese Americans in 1942.
Well that's all for today,
cool Naoar
