I got my first pedicure today; it was an early Christmas present. I've never given thought to having this done.
The lady soaked my feet in this minty-smelling water with jets in it. The chair I sat in vibrated, which felt weird considering vibrating chairs make me feel like someone is unsuccessfully molesting me.
Afterwards, she rounded my nails with a file, filed my calluses, and clipped loose bits of skin off my feet. Then she put clear stuff on my nails and painted them (Earlier I chose the color; it was "Electric Blue" whee ). Then when I was done, I sat in a different chair and placed a small fan at my feet to dry the polish.
I liked my calluses (they protect the soles of my feet wherever I go because I like to be barefoot gonk ), but my feet look beautiful in their bright blue coloring. heart heart heart
Today was also the first time I shot off any sort of gun. At 7:30 PM, I went to the shooting range with Lee and his father (wonderful, amazing old man whee ), and used three different guns: .22 CAL rifle, 9 MM pistol, and .44 Magnum.
Rifle--- I managed to destroy two circles. (20/24 shots, I believe)
Pistol--- This I did not do so well with; I was unable to make any actual bulls-eye shots. However, I did make 13/18 shots, which Lee responded to this by saying I could've qualified for Senior Marksman. exclaim
Magnum--- I managed to make all six shots on the man-shaped target; five headshots and one neckshot.
His father responded to my so-called skills with "You did better than me. And for this, I shall never forgive you."
I told him he could console himself with all the knowledge he gained for his sixty years.
