For Assertiveness class yesterday, we had an assignment; write down what about you that makes it hard to communicate with other people and share it with the class.
Mine were:
1. My attention span concerning people is short.
2. I'm very blunt.
3. I rarely think about what I say before I say it.
4. I don't really like talking to most people, especially girls, because I don't have much in common with them and it often ends in awkward silence.
5. I don't pay attention to people very long if they don't catch my interest in a couple of minutes.
6. I will often argue solely for my amusement, whether the other person knows or not.
7. When I do talk about things I like or find funny or amusing, people are often offended.
