Stand up.
Just a pair of words, correct? Is that it is? Look harder, then.
Stand up. It's a command, telling someone to return to there feet. Telling someone to get back into the world. To stop being lazy. To stop running. To fight on, even after being knocked down. So much from just two words.
It's used to get people back into the fight, into the race, away from drugs, suicide, and other self-destrutive things. It's used to get little screaming kids to stop screaming. It can get the sickly to start relizing they can heal. It can bring those in a dark dispair back to "life". Such power in two little words.
It's just a pair of words, gibberish to those who can't understand English. It's non-sense when without context. Change the tense, and it's a depresant, a downer, one that can drive the weak and insecure into darkness and dispair. It can cause pain. Following the inherent command within can be torture. Such power in two little words.
Stand up. The words require each other to mean anything. Alone, they are nothing but a string of letters and sylablyes. Stuff that can be rearanged at will. Stuff that can never be pinned down in time. So much for just two words.
Just a pair of words, correct? Think on it. Then think again.
Stand up.
