This week my alchoholic step-dad was whining about how he didn't know how we were going to get enough money for the rent and how poor we were and who is me...all that crap, and he comes home with a brand, spankin' new laptop. Who complains about being so poor they can't find enough money to pay for the house and BUYS A LAPTOP!? Criminy...a drunkard, that's what...
And so he gives his old computer to mom. When it was his own he wouldn't let my brother, me, or mom use it, even if I had homework to do. Now it's mom's and he's going on it constantly. I wish mom would just divorce already, but I think she's afraid we'll REALLY get poor like we were before he was in the picture. Oi...but, you know, life could be a lot worse. I should quit complaining and get on with it.
