This will be updated more than once if I ever feel like changing anything. Ever since I was a kid, I've had a story in my head that I have changed or altered over the years. Maybe I'll publish it one day if I get lucky(and if I get to writing everything down!). This is going to be a description of my main character, Ari.

Appearance: Her appearance has differed over the years. She started having short light green hair and green eyes to white hair and blue eyes. But in the end, I decided to keep it short silver hair, which is longer some time later. She has teal eyes, like her mother, is average height, and average weight with curvy legs. I'll put up a few sketches of her, so you can get an idea.

Personality: Ari's hard to describe. I wouldn't be able to describe her myself, except through her actions. She's a very kind person and she's a little hard to get through because she's suspicious about people. She's the daughter of Leviathan, the sea dragon god of the oceans and Lunamé, the maiden goddess of the moon(Sound familiar? Probably does if you read the short story I wrote for Creative Communication.It's an epilogue of sorts, though slightly different). She has a twin brother named Seiraku, who is older than her by a few minutes. Her extended family is composed of Tiamat, the dragon god of the skies, Demetra, the goddess of nature and Toti, their daughter who happens to be the goddess of the sun. She became withdrawn after witnessing her mother's murder at the hands of demons and Demetra had to work with her in order to help her overcome the traumatizing event. Demetra acted as Ari's mother in a way as she was growing up. They're very close. Toti and Ari are almost like sisters. She believes in justice and takes her purpose very seriously, as she not only inherited her mother's title as goddess of the moon, but she is also the reaper in charge of guiding souls to the afterlife, exacting a kind of judgement to determine where they belong according to their actions in life. Besides judging souls, she also punishes those who were cruel in life and feeds them to her animus venators, or soul hunters. She can be outspoken and is closest to Domitius, Alexandria and Alexis, humans who she turned into soul hunters at their request. She dislikes ceremonies or anything related to some kind of ritual, as it forces her to socialize with the other gods, especially Noctis, goddess of night. One fateful day, one of Noctis' minions was drunk and blurted out how Noctis was jealous of Lunamé's and Leviathan's relationship and how to finally break it up, she made a pact with demons and had them kill Lunamé. Ari has made it her mission in life to exact her revenge on Noctis, for she knows that only a god can kill another god, unlike Lunamé's case, who gave up her godhood and became human.

Abilities: Like every other god, she has her own weapon that was forged from the strongest steel and fused with her blood. Her weapon is called Animus Ora, or Soul Blade. Like the animus venators, it can rip out the souls of creatures and feast upon them. It can change into anything at Ari's will, from weapons to body armor. Ari has four known forms: the human one, which she prefers above all else, the dark side of her known as the Reaper Dragon, the light side known as the Silver Wing and a half form that combines aspects of her Reaper Dragon form with her human one. She also has black angels wings that were rumored to once have been silver until the darkness corrupted her and they became black. Her singing voice has the ability to make water glow and give it healing qualities.

Relationships: Seiraku-her twin brother. They used to be inseparable since they are fraternal twins, but grew slightly apart over the years. He tends to act like an older brother watching over his younger siblings. He's quiet, serious and very dedicated to everything related to their duties. They clash most of the time they're together, but they still love each other as siblings. Animal form resembles his father's, but slightly smaller and darker in color.

Toti- her cousin, who is also her opposite as the goddess of the sun. Toti is the observing type who prefers to choose her words carefully and when she speaks, she is very wise and commands the attention of all around her. Ari considers her to be more of a sister than a cousin. Toti understands Ari better than most people and speaks on her behalf whenever she needs to. Animal form is a large phoenix.

Leviathan- Ari and Seiraku's father. Her relationship with her father is strained. Leviathan tries his best to get along with his daughter, but their personalities don't match well. He has an even harder time handling her because she looks like a copy of her mother and he has yet to heal the wounds caused by her death. Leviathan's personality is much like Seiraku's, but on a more extreme level. Animal form is a large sea dragon with spikes running from his head down to the end of his tail, color is dark blue, has fins on the sides of his head and two front legs with webbing between the claws.

Lunamé-Ari and Seiraku's mother. Before her death, she was very loving toward her children and husband. Even though she was a goddess, she would act like a human woman because she would always defend them. She was a devoted mother willing to sacrifice herself for her children and did so when their village was attacked by demons. Ari suffered the weight of her loss even more than Seiraku and Leviathan, as she was very attached to her and witnessed Lunamé die before her eyes. Animal form is unknown, though it's rumored to be a white phoenix.

Demetra-Toti's mother, Tiamat's wife and aunt of Ari and Seiraku. Being the goddess of nature and the earth, she's a nurturing figure who despises the loss of life, but knows that there are some things that cannot be avoided. She is clear-headed, understanding and is the rock amongst the gods whenever there is turmoil. Though she has a calm demeanor, if provoked, she can be a dangerous foe to handle. Animal form is a giant land turtle covered in vines.

Tiamat-Leviathan's brother, father of Toti and uncle of Ari and Seiraku. Although he is Leviathan's brother and they are similar in appearance in human form, he is much more aloof than Leviathan. He can be serious, but he would rather lighten the mood. Because he is the dragon god of the skies, his head is usually in the clouds and Demetra has to bring him back down to earth when they're in meetings and such. He enjoys joking around with Ari and tries his best to fix her relationship with Leviathan. Animal form is a dragon that can either walk on four or two legs, depending on Tiamat's mood, has two pairs of wings, a tail that splits at the end that has spikes and is blue in color. The head shares some similarities with Leviathan's appearance, as they are brothers.

Pyralis-the god of fire, he is the very embodiment of a creature born of flames. His firey personality makes it hard to get along with and the rest of the gods know this. He is very temperamental and even the slightest thing could send him into a rage. He is very cynical and enjoys pointing out certain things others dare not mention. Animal form is a large tiger with flames around the paws and tail.

Noctis-the goddess of night who was always jealous of Lunamé, especially after she and Leviathan fell in love. Most of the gods are uneasy around her, as she is associated with everything dark about the world. She is a cruel, sadistic goddess and enjoys dictating people's flaws, gods or humans. No known animal form.

Domitius-one of the three animus venators who were once human. Domitius is the strong, silent type. He grew up in the desert, but his manner of speaking is very cultured. He is very protective of Ari and only loses his temper in the worst situations. He considers Ari to be his sister, as she reminds him of his younger sister, Jade.

Alexandria-the second human to become an animus venator of her own will, she is outspoken, slightly vulgar and has a bad temper. She sometimes flirts with Ari just to rile her up, even though she knows Ari always rejects her advances. She is Ari's confidante whenever Ari has a problem or just needs a woman's advice on things.

Alexis-the third human to become an animus venator, he is a prankster who is a failing womanizer. Ari enjoys his company simply because his jokes and pranks help to cheer her up. He hardly takes anything seriously and is a bit of a coward, except for when his sister, Alexandria, nags him about it.

Crimson Beast-a god who exiled himself after growing tired of dealing with his fellow gods. He lives in the Black Forest with his wolves and meets Ari when her curiosity gets the best of her and she goes there to discover whether he exists or not. At first, they find it a little hard to get along, but as they get to know each other better, they become very close. Animal form is a red wolf that is four times the size of a regular one.

Caelius- a mysterious god that is the only one besides Crimson Beast that doesn't partake in ceremonies or rituals, unless he decides to grace them with his presence. Not much is known about him, except that he keeps a close eye on Ari, as their jobs are related to one another. Before Ari was born and given the purpose of becoming the Devourer of souls, Caelius was in charge of exacting judgement on the souls of those who died. If they were worthy and virtuous, Caelius would allow them passage into a kind of paradise of souls. If they were not, Caelius would simply destroy them into oblivion. Once Ari was given her role, he was only in charge of leading those worthy to heaven. Animal form is unknown.

Tiberius- king of the gods and husband of Arietta. He is the god of judgement and his word is law. Ari tends to despise him a little, as whatever he says goes and this can lead to her clashing with the other gods because of it. No known animal form.

Arietta- queen of the gods and wife of Tiberius. She is the goddess of justice and she helps Tiberius by upholding whatever laws he creates. Out of all the gods, she is the one with highest degree of right and wrong. She doesn't particularly have a relationship with Ari. No known animal form.

Kuroshi-a relatively new addition, though he's one of the first gods that is a member of the hierarchy of the highest gods with Tiberius, Arietta and Caelius. The god of death who works closely with Caelius. His form is an anthropomorphic cat with dark fur, purple eyes and a scythe on his tail. He doesn't speak, so he is known as the Silent One. He only makes cat sounds every now and then and communicates through telepathy. Out of all the gods, he is the most mysterious, being relatively unknown amongst the humans as the only ones who have seen him are those whose time he considers to have run out. He spends a large part of his time with Ari as she is the only one he considers to be worth his time besides Caelius.

That's about all I'll write about her for the time being.
