So that little storm I mentioned earlier, Irene?TURNED OUT THE DAMN THING WAS MUCH WORSE THAN WE THOUGHT!Ok, so first, the doppler radar went out again, just like it did with Emily.Then we lost the electricity at my house at 2 in the morning.There were millions of homes with the same problem, except some of them lost the water supply too.We got it back today at about 8pm.So yep, Irene turned into a hurricane.There's been heavy rainfall with thunder, small tornadoes, water tornadoes and flooding in areas close to rivers.Not to mention, there's debris all over the roads.So many trees broke from the shere strength of the winds.I mean, for a storm, the damn winds were so strong!I almost didn't sleep on Monday because of the sound of the winds.And it's been bad.Real bad.My classes are even cancelled for the entire week.I'm glad I got the electricity...Still worried about a bunch of other people though...I'm a worrywart.
