The Different Worlds
"Rixa, good morning.I trust you slept well.Where did you run off with Naminé yesterday?", Diz asked with a stern look on his face, "She is not supposed to be going out and about."
"I just took her out for a walk.We talked for a bit, that's all. It's not like anyone found us and tried to kidnap us.", Rixa answered, completely aloof, "And it was good for her, not to mention me."
"I will never get through to you, will I?You're an odd little thing, Rixa. Why Riku thinks differently, I don't understand. Now, on to business.Today, you'll be informed of the different worlds that Sora can travel to."
"Pff, I don't need a lecture on the worlds.I've gone to a few myself already:Castle Bastion, Halloween Town, The Beast's Castle, Agrabah, Neverland..."
"Rixa, there are far more worlds than you know. Those are just a few. There is also Atlantica, The Pridelands, Disney Castle..."
"Disney Castle?Sounds a bit familiar.I think I've been there before...Does it look all fancy and have this garden?"
Diz groaned, unable to stand Rixa's newly rediscovered attitude. He liked her more when she was distant. He rubbed his face and prepared to continue on in informing her.Rixa noticed that he was starting to get annoyed and shut her mouth to let him speak without interruption.
"All the worlds used to be connected, but thanks to Sora, those connections were closed."
"Connections matter little to me.All of the members in the Organization could travel between the worlds as we pleased and we never ran into trouble."
"Nobodies and you, apparently, have that skill. But now that the connections are broken, Sora must reconnect them once again in order to reach all the worlds."
"Sora, Sora, Sora!Always Sora!Just 'cause he wields an oversized key!"
"Rixa, that is enough out of you!"
"It's a giant key!So it opens doors and stuff like that.Means nothing to me when it comes to a fight. He barely even stood a chance against me the first time I fought him and his friends."
"Rixa, that keyblade is Light, your opposite. The Light within the Darkness, the power to destroy the Heartless and send them back from whence they came..."
"I don't need Light.I'm perfectly fine without it."
"Rixa, are you up to it again?I really need to keep a closer eye on you."
Riku had just arrived from his mission and was very tired. He sat down on a large chair near the table Rixa and DiZ were standing close to.He sighed and lifted his hood up to let some fresh air hit his face.Rixa looked at him and felt sad for a moment. It was still hard for her to look at Riku with Ansem's face instead of his own.Riku noticed and threw something at her.She reatec slowly and it hit her straight in the face. She fell to the floor, knocked out by the object Riku had thrown at her.
"Rixa!", he screamed, running to her side and lifting her up, "I didn't mean to throw it so hard!"
"Waaaa..."
He saw that she wasn't responding to any of his pleas to get her to wake up.Picking up the object he had thrown at her, he rolled it around in his right hand.It was covered in a light brown paper with stitches.
"Had time to go on an errand, did you, Riku?I expect a debriefing from you later.", DiZ said, "Go put her in bed before she makes any trouble."
"You know, DiZ, even if she is the embodiment of darkness, she's not a bad person.Darkness isn't necessarily evil. You out of all people should know that.Isn't that what happened with me?", Riku replied, grabbing Rixa and walking away with the object still in his hand.
Exiting the room, he turned around and looked out a window in the hallway. It was still sunny outside and there wasn't a single cloud in sight. He smiled a little and continued on his way.Broken vases and relics lay scattered across the floor of the main room in the mansion. Some of the curtains were torn, letting the light of the sun into the room.Once he had gone up the stairs, he opened a door and went inside.Putting Rixa down on a bed, he sighed and kneeled down next to her.He looked at the object one more time, then put it on top of a table next to the bed.
"I hope you like it..."
