Meeting with His Majesty
Rixa waited till Sora and his friends left.She had to make sure they were gone before she reported back to Riku.He'd want to know how he was, since they were old friends and all.When she felt they were gone, she opened the portal and headed toward Riku's location.As she arrived, she noticed an unknown figure was already there, talking with Riku.She didn't recognize him and she was ready to attack if the need came.Riku turned to face her when he sensed her presence and simply smiled at her.
"Your Majesty, this is Rixa."
The small figure looked at her and she realized that he was a mouse.The little mouse smiled at her and extended his hand to say hello.
"I've heard a lot about you, Rixa.It's nice to know that you're on our side now.", he said to her.
"It's a...mouse.", she said bluntly.
"Rixa...This is His Majesty, Mickey.", Riku added, trying to get her to understand, "He's my friend too."
"Rixa, I'm sorry if it's a shock.", Mickey said, "But I'm sure you can overlook it and focus on what our true objective is:stopping the Organization."
"If you're talking about Sora, he's already gone with his friends."
"You didn't do anything, did you?", Riku asked worrily.
"Relax.I might have sent a few darklings after them...Just the lower level ones.I do get to test him, Riku.You said I could."
"As long as it doesn't get out of hand."
The three of them sat down at a table, waiting for DiZ to arrive.He had some information to give them and they were anxious.Rixa's thoughts were elsewhere.It had been far too long since she had seen Axel.It worried her to her core.
Axel...I just wish I knew how you were doing...
The silence continued, until Riku and Mickey started talking with one another.Rixa didn't make a sound and stood up, walking toward the window.She looked at the sky, not a cloud in sight.Riku motioned to Mickey and Mickey stood up, standing next to Rixa.
"Something on your mind?", Mickey asked, giving her a smile, "You can tell me about it if you want to."
"It's just...nothing, forget about it.It's pointless to talk about it."
"Allright, then.Wonder what could be taking DiZ so long?", he asked, "Not like him to be late..."
"He could be caught up in something else, Mickey.", Riku said, still sitting, "He's a busy man."
"Still worries me, Riku."
"Rixa, what's the matter?You've been quiet since you got here.", Riku said, standing up from the chair.
"...It's nothing."
In her mind, the only thought that remained was on Axel's wellbeing.She just wanted to see him again and tell him how sorry he was.
