Sneaking around
"Axel, I don't want to complete missions today.", Rixa said.She was still annoyed at the conversation she had with Xemnas, not being able to find out anything.Axel was sitting with her in the Grey Area, waiting for Roxas to arrive."Not much I can do about that, Rixa", he said while stretching out his arms,"You'll have to make do without me."Roxas appeared and waved at Axel.They joined up and left for their mission as Rixa watched them leave.She frowned at Axel's reply and left the room.Walking to her room, she began planning what she could do to avoid completing missions.Then she had an idea.She decided to let her hair down by removing the threads that held it together in two separate strands and change into regular clothes.As she did so, she looked at herself in the mirror, not recognizing herself.She hadn't seen herself with her hair down for so long, she had forgotten how beautiful it was.Silky smooth, no knots and silver like the moon, she agreed that maybe Xigbar was right after all, that she did indeed look like an angel.Tying up her sneakers and fixing her shirt properly, Rixa headed off into a portal she opened.Arriving at Twilight Town, she saw a group of kids laughing with one another.They were the same kids she usually saw on her constant trips to Twilight Town, but she didn't dare walk up to them.She was still shy, even if she never acted that way with her fellow members.While trying to decide what to do, one of the boys walked up to her.
"Hi there.I've never seen you around here."
Rixa blushed and stammered, staring into the boy's eyes.The other two that were with him, a boy and a girl, joined him.
"Hayner, I think you scared her.It's allright, ignore him.I'm Olette."
"And I'm Pence.Sorry if Hayner scared you.He does that sometimes."
"You guys!You're embarrassing me in front of the cute girl.", Hayner whispered to Pence and Olette, "And it's not everyday a cutie like her is in town."
"Excuse me?Hayner, there is no way I'm letting you go girl hunting.How about we just try to be friends with her?", Olette nagged, "Show her around town."
Rixa started backing up, nervous at being discovered by the group.She knew Saix would be especially mad at her if he found out, so she ran off.Hayner noticed and yelled at her, chasing after her as Olette and Pence followed.Rixa ran as fast as she could, trying to lose them when she bumped into something.She blinked and wiped her face, angry at what she had run into.She looked up and saw a tall man staring back at her.
"Hey Seifer, looks like we got a newcomer, you know?"
A boy appeared behind the tall man and looked at her.He seemed pleased with himself and patted the tall man on the back.
"Nice work, Raijin.Looks like you found me a cute one."
The tall man nodded back at the one named Seifer and grinned at Rixa.Hayner and the others caught up to her, stopping in their tracks when they saw Seifer and Raijin.Hayner and Seifer glared at one another, Olette and Pence holding Hayner back.
"Want another beatdown, Hayner?", Seifer mocked, "You just can't get enough of it.Right, Fuujin?"
"Yes.", a girl that appeared to be Fuujin said, "Another beatdown."
"Beatdown?You wish, Seifer.Just leave her alone.", Hayner yelled, "She has nothing to do with this."
Rixa smacked Raijin in the arm and walked toward Hayner.She glared at Raijin, Seifer and the girl, leaving them in shock.Passing her hand through her hair, she left them alone and headed to the Clock Tower.Hayner and Seifer were drooling over themselves as they watched Rixa walk away.
"She is so gonna be mine!"
"Like heck she is, Seifer.Now bring it on!"
"People are so strange...I just wanted to be alone.", Rixa sighed sadly, sitting by herself at the Clock Tower,"I'm not even like them yet they're so...accepting."
Watching the tram pass by, Rixa put her hands on the edge and lifted her legs in constant rhythm, up, down, up, down.She closed hereyes as she did so, remembering the aura from Beast's Castle.Try as she might, it never escaped her mind and the person that emited the aura was interesting to her.Even...
"No, no.That would never happen anyway.I'm just a Nobody.", Rixa yelled at herself, "I don't have a heart to feel with.It's only me faking emotions anyway."
Rixa pinched her arm, wanting to remove the figure and the aura from her mind, though it didn't help.She wished Axel, Xion and Roxas were there with her...even Zexion would be nice to have around.But Zexion's gone and the others are busy, she thought, It's just me here.She suddenly remembered something and looked through her pockerts.She pulled out the headphones and put them on.As the music played, she sang along, moving her legs along to the rhythm.
